The problem with most of Scotty's videos is that they are too generalized and don't touch on the subject matter beyond a superficial level. Obviously he knows his stuff, but I find the majority of his videos to be useless for doing actual work on your car. He doesn't show the step-by-step procedures and he doesn't focus on the workings of any specific car. I think watching Scotty's videos is akin to talking to that one guy who knows a lot about cars and getting insight from time to time, rather than a tutorial for a particular job.
