Those are fucking SHIT complete and utter dog shit. The reason for practicing is to get better muscle memory. 1v1s take forever as well peeking should be fast and your movement should be pretty much constant. You need to be doing repetitive movements. Get aimbotz and practice just doing headshots on the high settings ONLY. Then move onto reaction time maps where 10-20 enemies run at you moving around and you quickly spray/headshot them as fast as possible. Also going into community server deathmatchs help or aim maps but the key is to get repetitive as fuck.

Why do Valve support cheating in the pro scene? All they need to do is make a rule that states players can't bring their mice and keyboards. They can just submit their cfg, and their peripherals would be provided to them at the event. Also no phones, and no internet on LAN.

Just because you got 5 juan deags for an ace doesn't mean that's how good you are 'on a good day'. It accounts for your skill just as much as when some faggot hits you with a running one tap 'on a bad day'. What matters is consistency, and how many times you can make certain plays every round. If you get one tapped every single round, you suck at the game, chances are you positioning is shit and you keep putting your head where they are aiming. If you get multiple juan deags every round, you're Scream.

The way the ranks are currently structured, you should be able to carry your team in the rank below your actual skill level. If you can't hard carry, you're in your appropriate rank. The moment you can accept "Yes I really am MG, or I guess I really am SEM", is the moment you can learn to improve.

I'm new to the game, bout 10 hours in, and need some help getting my mouse sensitivity down. Will someone explain to me why ~800 DPI will be more accurate than a higher DPI like 1600 or 2000 coupled with lower in-game sensitivity to compensate for the high DPI? I have a 1080p 144hz monitor; people keep telling me my current DPI of 1600 is too high and that i'll be more accurate lowering it to 800 and adjusting my in-game sensitivity up accordingly.

I'm not saying I don't believe these people, I'm just saying I don't understand how that's true; I was always under the impression that higher DPI was always better, and if it results in 2fast mouse speed one could always just ramp down in-game sens to compensate.

Higher dpi isn't better. Native dpi is better.

Scale up or down your speed depending on native dpi. Most mouse sensors go from 400-1600.
If you're using a g503, they say any dpi is native, but I still use 1200 because it's the sens I like the mouse to be at outside csgo.

there is the ladder effect when going for in game sens that's to high but it matters not

to high DPI and your pointer will move unintentionally, you don't want your mouse to register movement from your heart rate and breathing

i think it's a good idea to use DPI that you prefer when just doing general work on your PC, and just adjust your in game sens

just felt a bit different that's all, didn't affect my aim or anything, the dif between 1600 and 800 and 0.5 and 1 is just to small

not as smooth when it comes to those micro-movements but also not as shaky whick makes sense because:

low in game sens = smoothness
high in game sens = ladders, jumps over pixels
low DPI = crosshair moves in a very controlled manner, no excess micro-movement
high DPI = more shaky, harder to keep a straight line sort of
