The ebay listing was even sadder because the guy mixed in 3D renders to show just how much he fucked up. The guy has his own fiberglass fabrication equipment and shit out this turd. He was asking $10k for this but even without the bodykit it was too much since it was an automatic with around 200k miles

Will.i.am designed this thing and while I like the look, there's a bit of controversy about it

He wanted to start his own luxury car brand, called IAMAUTO and build a factory in east LA to create jobs there. This was supposed to be the first car of that brand and apparently worth $700k. He said that this car is based on a Chrysler chassis and other Chrysler parts inorder to have less hassle with safety regulations.
Turns out this car was built by West Coast Customs, and because of their reality TV show you could see that they were using a DeLorean as the base of the car. Even the engine wasn't from Chrysler.

In later interviews, he claimed that he only used the DeLorean as a base to get the gullwing doors because they were the hardest parts to make and that the car had a custom chassis (which it probably didn't)

This all happened around 2012. Since then, his company and factory went nowhere and he employed WCC to do some more custom cars.

The AE86 trueno never had the steering wheel on the left side, it would have to be imported to obtain one. The Corollas sold in the US that are left hand drive are all AE88s with a lower power output. Thus some American fool has just forked out a load of cash to create a riced out replica of the original.
