whats the advantages/disadvantages to playing on an unnoficial server compared to a Offical one?

Nothing so long as you pick a good one. There are non-funcom admits, but most don't abuse their shit.

Less players, and unofficial servers actually sometimes work.
On the other hand, potential risk of shitty admin.

every server i've been on with 30+ players becomes laggy as fuck with rubberbanding, teleporting NPCS, bases take literally several minutes to load etc

for anyone unable to join the server, here's what works 100% even if you can't find it in any list.

Got to your Properties for Conan Exiles on Steam, and open the Launch Options.

then type in:+connect 167.114.159.112:7927

when you start the game, just let the main menu load for about 30 seconds and it will automatically go into a loading screen and connect you to the /v/ Server.

Yup. If I didn't die seventeen fucking times trying to claim my stronghold I'd have held out. Adjusted it to Medium until it's optimized a bit more and the difference is huge.

Its a good game if you enjoy fucking around and building up your own stuff. If youre not easily amused you should probably wait a few months.

Thanks for the tip. My only experience with /v/ or Veeky Forums servers is from my time on /ss13g/ and that server wasn't showing any signs of stopping any time soon.

I got into the series late but played through 1, and 2 right before 3 released.

It's my favorite out of all 3 especially in pvp.
