Is there even any purpose in leveling up 3*s? You'll eventually roll a 4* or even 5* dupe, obsoleting all your effort. The goal is to summon majority of 4*-5*s right?

If you want that save that roll you link it to your my.nintendo and just play the game. If you want to go back to rerolling don't link it. You can always save it to some new throwaway my.nintendo but you can't unlink throwaway my.nintendo to later link it with your orginal my.nintendo. Any unlinking of my.nintendo deletes that save account.
