Penzoil Platinum is GOAT. Was using synthetic blend shit and my engine's guts were blackish. Used PP high mileage and now I got to change my oil again soon. Cleared lots of shit out. Had to use fram cause all the filters I normally use were sold out errywhere. Had to order filters online.
FRAM a shit.
>35k mi
>whenever I was at the dealer last
>current mileage
30k
>last oil change
30k, just a few days ago. Before that was 22,500, and before that was 15k. I use Mobil 1 extended life 5W-20 (says it's good for 15k miles but fuck that) and Mobil 1 filters.
>109k
>Last changed probably at 106k
Oil and filters were whatever the garage used :^)
216,XXX. Approaching 3k miles since last change.
so FRAM and snake oil
Hyundai?
3260

>30k something

Pennzoil Platinum and Wix XP filter
130K
need to do my oil relatively soon.
...
>Mobil 1
Mein negro
Never used their filters before though.
182,672 miles
Changed oil maybe 200 miles ago, I use Castrol Magnatec C3.
Regular old cheapy filter..
Vauxhall Corsa C 05
So what exactly are the merits of different filters?
I know oils are generally speaking very similar, but what about filters. Fram is obviously shit, not that I know why, but what are the "muh royal purple" brands of filters
>last change 184k km
>currently 189k km
I use tamoil full synt, here it's cheap and for diesels is the best quality around
the filter is MANN, dunno about it's overall quality but all filters I've are MANNs
checked
Also I to would like to acquire knowledge on the differences between filters and oils and what makes one better over the other
I did mine at 46k and just crossed over 51k. Did the oil today. Using Wix XP filters and Mobile 1. Filter still had life in it. Oil still had lubrication, may go a little bit longer. On my 2002 Focus SVT.
P..plz respond
MANN makes great filters, you aren't going wrong.

>what kind of plebmobile is this?
500miles on current oil change, whatever synthetic oil my dealership uses
>post mileage
I don't know
>and the mileage last oil change was done
I don't know
This is the second time the odometer has gone out and I can't be fucked to bother with it again. Says 220k.
I go every six months between changes. Next is in a month. Thanks for the reminder.
negro, go to bitog and jizz in your pants.
They're all paper cardboard, and anything better is serious diminishing returns. So pick whatever aesthetic color you like the most because there's no difference between filters.
Yeah for regular cars, the filter wont matter.
and we don't drive race cars so the oil isn't really that huge of a difference either.
T..thanks
I did around 120k, but I just reset the service lamp and check the dip regularly and don't worry too much about the actual number.
