What are some cheaper but still cool alternatives to the mainstream classic muscle cars? Everyone wants a Camaro, Charger, Mustang, etc...but I wanna have something different. What are some cheaper common classic muscle cars? Preferably strong V8 as an option.

Barracuda, Skylark

Le'Mans

...

Buick Skylark GSX is about as dope as it gets

European classic muscle cars if you live in Yurop

Gremlin with the 5.0 V8.

mid-70s mopars are often overlooked.
>Plymouth Fury
>Dodge Aspen
>Plymouth Volare
>Plymouth Satellite
The 318 V8 is god-tier.

Basically anything 2-Door V8 made in the US from 60-85 is classic muscle

1975 Fury 2dr hardtop. Not many here going to go for that.

>New Manta never
>New Capri Never
>New Montreal never
Why did Westerners become such absolute faggots after the wall fell

78 Aspen R/T. 76-79 Road Runner hits most of the same points and both are dressed up Volare's. Might go over better with the audience here since it's smaller

For the truly unusual, there's the 77-79 LTD II Sport

If you are lucky you can grab a Pontiac GTO somewhere

mustang 2

73-78 LTD's are nice too... FMX and a 351 or 400 are stout. spend a little more for a nice example though, and take care-

Please leave

Trans-am, el camino, monte carlo

I've always been a fan of these and Chevelles

I do enjoy a good Mopar. I'm really digging the Satellite.

I'd get a Capri and drop a 302 in it.

CUTLASS

gud luck finding one of these anywhere t b h

>tfw its unobtainable

4th gen Novas are super cheap if found in rough shape. Gutless, but really cheap to improve, plus parts are incredibly affordable if you're going on a budget.

German cars from the 70s and 80s. They were built like a brick shithouse but the values are mostly worth nothing.

Some of the fastest coupes and four doors of their respective eras are worth peanuts compared to boomer-chariots.

Because the EU is a pseudo-communist state that is against private forms of transport. They push the use of public transport very hard, and if you decide to use a car the market has lots of limitations thanks to emissions¡s regulation and other Agenda 21 green memes.

There was also the Dodge Coronet

I would love a 318 V8 Aspen wagon. All my yes.

all for u are fucking wrong

this is the right answer (sans cheap)

Plymouth or Barracuda

If you're a big fan of the (GTO/Chevelle/442/Roadrunner), you can generally find same model year base models Lemans|Tempest/Malibus/Cutlass/Satellite at a much more reasonable price. '68/'69 AMC Rebels are kick ass and generally no more than 5000 dollary doos in good condition and two door configuration. '70/'71/'72 Ford Mavericks can have a neat look to them and will earn you /br/ownie points. Early notchback Mustangs are still cheap, '71/'72/'73 Mustangs have somehow avoided a premium despite being the best looking Mustangs in my opinion. The last refresh of the C3 'Vette can look good and still be had pretty cheap if not an L82. Anything like an '80s GM G-body like a Monte Carlo. Cop packages on things like Caprices will run hard for what they are if a 4 door doesn't bother you. If your definition of muscle car is flexible you can do basically any half ton Chevy truck in a very street machine style. If it's just the sort of looks you're in it for, early Jap cars really paid homage to their American liberators with things like the '77 Toyota Celica. Uhhh, like '74/'75 Darts can still be had cheaper (along with most mainstay mailaise era halo cars) but are fugly imo- Basically just go a little off the beaten path and keep your eyes peeled.

I regret all the bad things I said about malaise era cars

That thing looks fucking mean, that bumper could move mountains

A valiant maybe?
Or try a nova

Coronet Super Bee if you can afford one.

>ugly disproportional shitbumpers
>IT'S A FEATURE

Also, the Aspen was sold in Mexico as the Dodge Dart, making this video relevant. You can do a lot with the 318 V8. It's in the same engine family as the famous 340 giant killer and the 360 everyone loves. The 318 made its reputation on reliability, but throw hot rod parts at it, and you can make over 400 HP in a street car without changing the displacement.
