stay mad cause you dont have a sexy 80's brick sportscar

What's the best first timers car to get in europe?

Toyota AE86

>3k civic

Aygo/c1/107
verry low fuel consuption, 4 seats and lighter than a miata.
Also naturaly aspirated toyota engine.

...

Considering I'm neither a French woman nor a Italian man, I'm not getting a scooter.
Besides, I have a Citroen anyway

So I drive a Mitsubishi Carisma '01 with only 107k km on it and on every bump it clanks and rattles everywhere. What gives?

>talk about your 1.2l 3 cylinder diesel ecobox
More like 1.4l.1.2l is petrol.

Damn.

Worn bushings?

obligatory Twingo mention

for what reason

Germanfags, do you really get fined for idling to warm up the engine in the winter? Will neighbors call the police if they see you warming up engine?

Cheap, reliable, cheap to fix, comfortable, spacious, cute. Everyone will make fun of you but since you're here on Veeky Forums it's probably the case anyway.

>warming up engines by idling
its like you hate your car or something

I am getting massive erection by just thinking of how nice those hot pistons rub against cold cylinder walls

unlubricated anal is not good for anyone

How the fuck would you warm your car gently otherwise?

by driving it off and keeping under 30% rpms
That way the oil warms faster and starts circulating sooner as opposed to enigne having to run with very little oil since it's all in a thick goop not circulating for like 20 minutes while it warms on idle.
The faster the engine warms up the better for it.
Until its cold no high revs.

what is the best mr2 for europ and why is it the zzw30

snow is finally melting, ice roads are closed.
Is it time to finally see dry tarmac for the first time in 6 months!?

VW Lupo 3L had a 1.2l 3 cylinder diesel.

Bmw e36

Corolla gti 16V

I see beemers everywhere, they're a boring safe choice.
SW20 or bust.

Bippity boppity boo
Pasta pizza mandolino
Mafia mafia bunga bunga

What are good handtool brands with good availability in northern Europe? I always see talk of American brands, but I don't see them for sale here. I don't want to waste my money on worthless garbage.

VERY fast lada moving at incredible hihg speed

I see those ladas with spoilers driving around sometimes.
I wonder if they'd make for a good track beater...

Guess so.
There's also a huge aftermarket for these, at least in Russia. And the parts are quite cheap.

Makita makes good electrical tools, Hazett makes good hand tools.

Are there any other ones? 500 € for a socket set is very much out of my price range. Is there a good value-for-money brand, or are you stuck with either cheapo shit or top-of-the-line?

...

Yes there was something like that but it has to do with the fact that you are always have to be in charge of the car or some shit like that.
But who does not warm up their engine?Mannesmann makes good tools.

we have makita hand tools too, can't complain

I'm in Sochi, holy shit it's warm and sunny.
Also tougeeeis are amazing, i wish i could drive something here, like real mountain passes and shit

ты eбaнyлcя? Tы чтo тaм дeлaeшь?

We have makita hand tool set they work.

Reminder for all euro nightwavers: send your email to soarer or rav4 since we're moving to slack

I've got a Proxon tool set I use to work on my cars. It claims its industrial quality. We use the some stuff on work aswell (industrial machinery engineering)

Exactly where?

The truth is that fucking nearly anything will do for an amateur/hobby wrencher.

The best thats widely available; Würth

there's not much of difference between entry level tools and pro tools for amateur, rite?
I've had a cheap ass soviet set last like 50 years and only now has broken.
