I have an idea of how Star Wars fights should be portrayed. Lightsaber duels are ultimately a "battle of the mind." Harkening back to the old Obi-Wan vs Vader duel in Ep4, they didn't really do any fancy moves that we've grown accustomed to and Vader was able to strike Obi-Wan down because his will and resonance in The Force was stronger.

I think that two force-users should be meditating in front of each other and then illustrating their mind-battle by showing phantoms of themselves engaging in all the crazy acrobatics that we're used to and the winner of that crazayyy fight is a metaphor for the Force-user who was stronger and in real-time you just see the winner kill the other with just one slash.
