Basically unlocks shouldn't overcompensate for a class's weakness. Heavy is meant to be the slow "tank" class.

i dont see it very often, most pyros i see use flaregun, or in the case of phlog pyros, most dont use any other weapon at all

Escape Plan requires Soldier to be under 81 health to move faster than a heavy using any of those weapons.
Rocket jumping takes life from soldier too and its not as simple as pressing W since you need a decent amount of space to do it

Powerjack gives pyro a small speed bonus while its equipped (15%)
Buffalo Steak makes heavy go roughly 35% faster than his base speed

Sup /tf2/, so I came back to TF2 after 4 years of not playing and I have to say, it hasn't aged a day even with a few questionable changes. What are the current essential mods? I saw a 12v12 comp HUD that looks really neat on regular /v/ but can't find it in any of the OP links.

eveHUD is the best.

but you dont use GRU to fight, you use GRU to move.
when a round starts or you spawn, you spend a decent amount of time just walking to the battle.
i do preffer other secondaries over buffalo steak but GRU is the greatest thing in the meele slot imo

Is air strike actually good? I got wrecked with it a few times and now I'm trying it out myself and I suck with it. Could it be because I always use the stock? I don't think I see pros use it that often.

Shove is there to interfere with Deadringer Spy which makes it easier to track him. It's a rare case for Scout to team up with Engineer. Why would you do that when you can go outside and kill people?
However I'd prefer it to be paired with a melee than any primary to be honest. Boston Basher is the perfect candidate imo.

Their weakness is having only three rockets. Plus they're usually shit and lack experience. Drag them into weird or uncommon situations, make them miss, hit all of your shots and you'll win.
