My dad hooked the battery up backwards on my car and started it. Car died. What's everything that can be wrong with it? 03 Acura RSX Type S.
My dad hooked the battery up backwards on my car and started it. Car died. What's everything that can be wrong with it...
Everything was wrong with it before he hooked the battery up backwards. It's a Honda.
>What's everything that can be wrong with it?
It's a 03 Acura RSX Type S
BIG PROBLEM
you didn't take it to the shop and let a qualified mechanic work on it
that's what you get for trying to cheap out
A bunch of fuses blew out on my camry check the fuses.
Who hires a mechanic to put in a new battery?
Hondas always have a main fuse.
Replace said main fuse, hook up the battery the correct way and off you go.
Alternator is fucked. Car is a write off.
probably a large percentage of normies
idiots like OP should
...
Most mechanics around here don't even charge for the work, so pretty much everyone I know.
You blew 1 or more fuses.
Best case you blew some fuses.
Worst case they didn't blow and you fried the ecu maybe something else too.
>ecu
>having electronics in your car
Fuses, fuses exist for this purpose.
>riding a pushbike
How can you fuck this up?
Most OEMs make the posts slightly different sizes to prevent exactly this.
>Most mechanics around here don't even charge for the work
My chevy dealer charges a hefty fee even after buying the battery from them.
7.0L 120hp/150lbft V8 that takes 20 minutes to get to 60mph.
OP should have considering he fucked even that up
Who are you quoting?
