refia is one of the best healers, so you should very much work on her sooner than later.

You kind of the other way around. You do more damage if it's your class type. I think it's affected by your magic stat if it is. It will do a normal amount of damage if it doesn't.

The player with Tyro probably had better shit/played for much longer compared to the other player. Tyro was paired with a Tidus w/BSB & OSB too, so yeah. That guy was doing good damage even without Shout or Vessel of Fate compared to that poor Squall player who only had the OSB

Oh, and the hits were happening without the cloak bullshit. To be fair, the Tyro was hitting at a lower number on the initial OSB, of course.

Cards that don't correspond to your job get no damage bonus from magic so they literally do not scale. Some jobs can use cards from more than one job category though (like Tidus being able to use warrior and mage cards and Cloud being able to use both warrior and ranger cards iirc.)

I agree. The whole change jobs during battle w/ ATB is amazingly fun. Way better than X in that regard.

Although it could be so easily broken. I'm literally just using 2 dark knights and an alchemist and just holding down the X button. Has only failed me twice.
