Maxing out my Moped at 75km/h
>What rpm do you rev at that speed?
About 8000-9000 rpm due to short transmission.
>What engine do you use?
Simson M541 50ccm 1 cylinder aircooled 2-stroke with mechanical ignition system.

80mph if possible
RPM is around 3200
Engine: WRX 2.0L Turbo

Beats the hell out of Miatas - my last one spun 4000RPM at 80MPH. I actually had to start wearing earplugs because of how loud and annoying that shit was.

lol, my Aygo actualy gets more silent at higher speed even though it revs 6000rpm+ @180km/h (114mph)

My entire route to work is 35-45 mph and at both speeds rmps are around 1300rpm.

100mph on the highway
3500rippems
1.8 Suzuki

Long gears 4lyfe. I do a lot of highway driving and would take low highway rpm's over a quick 0-60. I don't know if I could handle 4000rpm@80 like a BRZ.

>60mph
>no tach, Google says somewhere around 1300rpm if my math is right

No points for guessing the car.

Why so slow?
based

VQ30DE
Daily drive: 35mph, 1200 RPM, 5th gear
Cruising: 45mph, 2200 RPM, 4th gear
Hotrodding: 60mph, 5500 RPM, 2nd gear

All of these on the same city road, bigger wider roads=higher speeds

Americuck speed limits :(

>Why so slow?
Because my car's steering is more of a suggestion wheel and I'd rather not trust it past 60.

My car is basicly a kei car on prius discs with a 2145mm wheelbase and I often drive faster than 170km/h (speedometer only shows up to 170km/h)

65-70 depending on speed limit
I think about mid 2k
1.6L tarbo ferd

It's a FiST

If I go much faster than that then the engine starts to builds up boost and my MPG goes to shit.

I hardly take the highway.

I could probably fit your car in my trunk.

THE B52 VOLVO TARBO. 2.5 I5

K24A4 Accord, normally cruise barely at 2000 on the highway in 5th gear, but when I feel like hooning I pop it into D3 and hoon around around 4000rpm going 70.

Imagine how a car like that feels at high speeds...

>What is you usual cruising speed Veeky Forums?
65 on most days, 55 if I'm trying to be extra efficient.

>What rpm do you rev at that speed?
I don't know. There is no tachometer, but there is a kW gauge. I use about 13 kW at 55 MPH.

>What engine do you use?
16.5 kWh battery + 111 kW permanent magnet motor on most days. Sometimes an 84 hp, 1.4L I4 engine supplements that pairing.

for my frs and mustang (both have 4.10 rear ends)
>65-75 mph
>~3500 rpm for the frs; 2500 for the stang
>fa20/ ford 302
you would think the mustang would spin more rpm considering its a 5 speed and the frs is a 6 speed. idk fuck it

I don't want any points, SN95?

Don't want tickets, going above 120 km/h usually means manoeuvring around other slower cars. Police in my country (Chile) used to be pretty chill and they wouldn't bother you as long you wouldn't endanger others, but now they seem to be quite starved in resources and got pretty hawkish. Also they got new cars (Dodge Chargers) and they got quite "chase-happy" as in the past if they didn't have traffic police with those BWM bikes they'd be fucked as they drove total shitboxes (old Hyundais and Korean Chevys) and couldn't catch anyone.

In the interstate cruising at 80 I sit at about 3500 rpm. 1994 integra rs 1.8L

The highways around here have speed limits of 75. Most people cruise around 80-85 and I just keep with the flow of traffic.
Stays at a pretty consistent 3k rpm except for when I'm passing someone.

My brother drives a '10 it's a comfy car, and they came in manual too, but his is an auto as well (he got it from my grandma)

It came in manual? Holy shit this changes everything. And yeah I love it. Cozy as fuck.

Most of my daily drive is 70 in a 55, country-ass road. ~1800 RPM
On the highway it's 80. 2000 RPM
LS2, obviously.

Me too, I do around 80mph though.

V8s are amazing. 4cyl turbocucks would only be able to sustain a speed like that for a short time before the engine giving up from revving at 8000 rpm at 160 km/h

what is a car that can be had in manual in burgerland for like 5k max that has super tall gearing for >muh highway cumfies

my shitbox does 3500 @ 70 in 5th and I wanna kill myself

75 @ 2800
If I go 65 I can push 38mpg out of my 2.0 tsi gti
In 5th it only goes up to around 3100 though, the two gears are really close for whatever reason.
Kicks the shit out of my cousins 28 tops in his focus st though.

Pic related, it's a comfy speed.
