You'd have to be pretty careful to evade detection, since people disassemble bytecode. Maybe a better option would be to release a clean version, and put the backdoor in an update once it's well adopted.

In the end you are just compiling the crap into machine code. I think a notorious root kit was programmed in Python. i know a guy who made 100k euros when he was 13 by selling runescape money. he got them by finding out someones IP address (like from IRC whois or skype) and then tricking them into high stake duel arena fights and ddossing them when the fight started
