What is Cadillacs problem? >Not making the Escala although they can >Will influence all their vehicles design languages, but they have 2 of them >3 mid sized sedans >ATS and CTS won't be updated till 2019/2020, by that time they will be years outdated >Wtf is the CT6? >CT8 pretty much canceled at this point to work on crossovers
Cadillac failed to develop their own V8. There is no point in a luxury car if it doesn't have a V8 and the performance versions have to borrow corvette engines.
Josiah Peterson
> borrow corvette engines
650 hp / 650 ft lbs. 250k mile reliability. I will borrow.
Sebastian Jones
Just look at Cadillac's head marketing executive. Her statements about the luxury automotive industry tell you everything you need to know. It's impressive how she has managed to swindle so money from GM for her personal enjoyment.
Michael Morales
So that's 1 mid size sedan (CTS) 2 full size (CT6, XTS) and 1 compact (ATS)
Thomas Johnson
>Not making the Escala although they can what they cannot make that car as pictured, sorry
gm.com/company/leadership/corporate-officers/dan-ammann.html >Ammann is responsible for managing the company’s business operations around the world, the global Chevrolet and Cadillac brand organizations >Ammann is a certified industry pool test driver at the Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack in Germany. gm.com/company/leadership/corporate-officers/johan-de-nysschen.html >de Nysschen is responsible for all aspects of Cadillac globally, including sales, pricing and network development; strategic brand development and marketing; product portfolio planning, including providing critical input for product engineering and design >A motorcycle and performance automobile enthusiast
Kayden Hughes
They should make a non supercharged version, claim it has higher tolerances or some shit and call it good.
Julian Butler
CT6 is slotted in the gray space between the 5 series and 7 series, it's not the size of other full size sedans
Jeremiah Foster
>it's not the size of other full size sedans except it totally is
Juan Powell
>Cadillac failed to develop their own V8
Ya, that worked out great last time.
Parker Edwards
The only hope Cadillac has is to go independent and somehow separate from GM.
That has to be the reason they build amazing concepts that never make it to production. Cadillac should be selling $200k RR and Bentley competitors, but no, GM is too stubborn and scared to let Cadillac compete with anyone except Lincoln.
Eli Ross
Luxury burger shit, but at least they're not as shitty or irrelevant as Lincoln.
Well, yeah, Good goy. Hence why Cadillac currently sucks massive donkey balls.
Ayden Fisher
>why can't Cadillac return to American styling?
Austin Mitchell
The XTS is full size according to the EPA It's total interior volume is 122cu-ft >Minicompact < 85 cu-ft >Subcompact 85–99.9 cu-ft >Compact 100–109.9 cu-ft >Mid-Size 110–119.9 cu-ft >Large/Full-Size ≥ 120 cu-fr
Dylan Ramirez
What is the point of the XTS if the CT6 and the CTS exist? It's going to be updated this year, and killed off in 2019. For what purpose?
The XTS looks great in person, but the CT6 looks better
Angel Richardson
You have to make enough to stay in business, I suppose. Otherwise you end up like these guys being sold off to india or something and becoming the laughing stock of the automotive industry...
Nicholas Smith
>Jaguar the laughing stock of the automotive industry...
not sure if bait or actually this dense
Landon Phillips
XTS is FWD and made in China. The CT6 is RWD and made in the US.
Hunter Russell
>>ATS and CTS won't be updated till 2019/2020, by that time they will be years outdated
Chill, nigga. The ATS and CTS came out within the last few years and 5-7 year model cycles are normal in the auto industry.
Aaron Carter
Margins on this are probably incredible as it's basically an Impala. Plus it's appeals to traditional Cadillac buyers i.e. Old people.
Jonathan Wilson
> be rich cunt > buy fancy car > Jaguar > may as well of brought a Mahindra
Parker Campbell
nigga please
Eli Gonzalez
>XTS According to wiki the XTS is assembled in Ontario and the CT6 is assembled in China.
realistically if all goes well in my life I would buy the XTS for me.
Dylan Sanders
Considering the CT6 came out with Cadillacs new design language, and Cadillac is again getting a new design language, I'm confused as to what Cadillacs plans for design across the board
