I'm using an Astra Katana (+35) and PP crafted Saiki set, neither is affixed yet though.
Double always takes me nearly 10 minutes and then I run out of time before I can kill PD. Is there any tricks to it that aren't obvious? I get my Katana Gear up and use Sakura Endo after getting to the weakspots on Double, PD I mainly Guren spam for damage. I really don't know what to do, I just lose so much time chasing Double's pimples back and forth

I was told to Guren spam if there is a wall you can use to lock yourself in place like in PD. Sakura Endo for general purpose, and Hatou if the enemy has multiple parts that it can hit.
Is that wrong?

Knock yourselves out. The extreme short of it is that guren is good if you need the mobility and weak spots don't exist or are easy to hit, Hatou if you can get all hits to connect, and Tsukimi > Gekka for max dps. Sakura Endo is good if you can hit multiple targets with it but the days of single target Sakura are long gone.

For PD, the fight is extremely friendly towards the Tsukimi > Gekka combo so you generally want to spend the fight doing that.

The chance at a 14 star is whatever but that factor is a good reason. Union weapons; I could see talis / rod being worthwhile and you might as well upgrade something like a ray leg to union because it keeps everything you have on it.

I don't even use Ray legs cause Austere units are premium only. Saiki now and forever.

Are you running without risk? You need lv80 enemies for a good capsule drop rate. Should ideally also be running in a group for better PSE bursting.

How do you even convince people to run SHAQs with you when the investment is insanely higher for no bigger reward than VHAQs and the exp isn't much different? I've never understood what the point of SHAQs were.

Huh? The last time I managed to convince anyone to run SHAQs with me was the last time Ray files were in.

Outside of cfiles requiring specific enemies, I don't see any reason to run them either, especially now that you can just get the lv17 PAs with just 20 excubes.

when they were new, you did them for the exclusive drops and the large pyroxenes. and then that stuff was outmoded and people stopped doing them because it's too expensive and VHAQ are far more efficient even though in the wake of the "SHAQs go to XH levels" update you're still limited to L60 max in VHAQ. sega is being stupid and refuses to reduce their requirement like the VHAQs despite them being dead content due to all of the above.

don't do the SHAQs for the blue weapons. just fill the gauges. they're not XH-tier stuff anymore so you can do them whereever the targets spawn above 61.

You could use the excuse that you don't have the resources to replace your Saiki affixes with 12* but that falls apart when they're only 4s.

The rear and arm are each around 10m, so that's 20m combined, which is two, maybe three if you get unlucky, weeks of money COs. If that's an unreasonable amount of time and money for what is best in slot in 99% of situations right now then I don't know what to tell you.

You can also just spam PD Triggers now and get them that way, there's no limit to how many you can do so you can grind it out.

Please, it's not like that's the only thing you are getting out of it. Having Premium at some point to grab a ton of passes was pretty much a requirement if you were serious about your gear, nowadays I'd just hold off and wait a month or two longer since they are doing away with 10-11* passes anyways.

You might be able to use the plugin the same way as the parser one, not sure though.

You get more per kill but it's much easier to get a decent PSE Burst going on VH that lasts fucking forever than on SH
