I'd say I've gotten very good considering my driving on GT6's rally segment and wrc5. I like how dirt feels better than wrc. I mainly spend my time rallycrossing online. Don't buy the Subaru. It gets one Livery and lift off oversteers around everything.
It really isn't a whole lot as far as tracks go but I very much enjoy the 3 series of racing in the game.

If you're just gonna play need for speed or something get a cheap garbage one. If you want to play actual sims the cheapest decent wheel is the Thrustmaster T150 and that's still in the ~150-200 dollar range.
