Did that cutscene imply she got raped?

On the off chance that username IMPLYING is someone here, sorry I just died on that raven dude. I was trying to heal but his bombs caught me off guard.

>I hope you're not specced for kats, because I'm level 60 and my kats are doing way more than that
Not sure if you're aware of this, but what level you are is irrelevant. That's the level of his items, not of his character. Gear drops scale with the mission level, not with the character level.

He's right though, your comment was irrelevant since he could just as easily have been level 50.

see filename.

>not using full plate armor

you're a bunch of slanty eyed faggots

Nice outfit, user.

i think so

>has to marry shiggy or kill herself
>loses child
>falls in love with shiggy
>finds out she's barren and also dying?

she had a hard life

This is why even in a weeb general people still call you a weeb, you need to fuck off, these jokes haven't been funny for a decade.

post the set bonuses

>haven't been able to play much because i've been prepping for an interview
>mfw i got the job

The 2nd 2 pieces is life recovery from bulls-eye
The 5 pieces is Increase attack and defense (Yaragarasu)

The others aren't scrolling so you can see for yourself.

Nice blog you fucking faggot.

epic! you're gonna be the first person in the world to do that!

Nioh threads aren't for blogging

>Do passive skills in the weapon trees only work when you're holding that weapon, or do they still work regardless of what weapon you use?

Most of them work regardless of weapon. The +X Ki while guardian from 2kat tree is nice for any heavy armor user.

How is 3kat working for you? I was trying it at first, but I couldn't get a feel for the dual swords except for when I had to fight 2 or 3 humans at once. Ended up switching for a spear for easier ki draining against oni.

I might try it again once I find some decent dual swords and can invest more points in the 2kat tree.

Not him, but 3kat is pretty freakin great once you get skills on both weapons
1 Kat utterly rapes horned oni, smashing their horns in and demolishing them with the high-stance combo ender. It's also all-around useful for nearly every single enemy, and the low-stance skill that lets you *teleports behind you* on enemies is very useful for dodgin
2kat has the single best kick move in the game, and lets you go bonkers with elemental effect. Also for groups your flailing tends to hit anyone close to you, letting you keep them stunlocked pretty solidly

Also post weaboos

During the early mission with the lion monkey boss thing in the raining village, there's a part where you have to gesture to a yokai to continue. After doing this though the tooltip refuses to go away. It does so shortly if I quit the game, but comes back when I interact with something. This happens on any level. Any way to fix this?

How do I 2kat? It feels like shit, like i'm hitting things with a paper sword. My biggest problem is that my moves dont seem to stagger people, so they can still hit me while they are getting 99 hits of 5 damage. I don't want to go back to 1 kat but honestly it feels so much stronger that it's not even fun.

Get better weapons, get better skills, know when to switch to a different weapon if the situation calls for it.

>been through Daizafu 3 times and still haven't found the last Kodama
FINE I'll just wait until I have kodama sense
pain in the ass

Or you can search it on youtube.

I have every skill that I can buy on 2kat and I'm almost full on kusarigama. My 1 kat with almost no skills feels much better than the 2kat.

Does minmaxing stats matter at all?

Upgrade the kick move for 2kat
That move has saved my ass so many times, it can almost completely shut-down most human-sized bosses, because connecting with the double-slash at the end sets them up to be hit again, and thus combed again
Other then that remember high stance and watch your ki

>using guides and not enjoying the discovery

Using kusarigama and 2kat at the same time is such a waste. They fill the same role as fast weapons with good aoe.

2kat naturally does less damage than 1kat anyway, they're meant more for speed than raw power.

It's what I do, that don't work with those big demons with varied weapons though;

>It's what I do, that don't work with those big demons with varied weapons though
You're doing it wrong then.

How the fuck am I supposed to kill that samurai in the side mission? I'm hitting for almost nothing and getting 3 shot.

>final mission back in London
>Japanese text on death changes to THIS LIFE HAS FADED
>this whole last mission in general

Dodge more or get better armor if you're heavy and blocking, get better weapons and make use of skills, make use of items/magic/ninjutsu, learn the fight. There's lots of reasons yo ucould be struggling.

What are some good ninjutsu skills I should be working towards?

Works just fine, I tent to use 1-kat for one on one encounters and 2-kat for when I'm dealing with groups.

When I start a new game, will I get all the DLC again?

bombs

Quick-Change
Shuriken/Kunai for pokes
Makabushi for fucking with human enemes/revenants/human bosses
The passives for increased bow ammo/rifle ammo
The nuke
Those are some of the more useful ones, at least as far as I'm concerned

Twilight missions just updated

first level and bat cave are the two variants

These Jap names are really blurring together for me. After every story beat I gotta check the index to figure out what was going on

I've played enough sengoku era games that I remember most of the names pretty easily

If I respec will it let me respec the 3 points I got at the beginning of the game for picking weapons and a guardian?

Does every clan have an armour? I've seen a few but no Date yet

I did it earlier and it looks like you can only respec all the levels you got with amirata. You also get all your skill points back so you can put it into another weapon. Sorry man.

Fuuuuuck, I know 2 or 3 points probably won't make a difference but it still bothers my autism

What were they thinking with this "2 different twilight missions a day only" ?

I had lvl ~100 twilight rotation on my first day and now that I'm level 50-ish my rotation is lvl 10-15 missions, what a fucking horrible idea I hope they release a patch to fix it and make it not shit.

i want them to make it so i can go on co-op from inside a mission

...

Are William and Kelly the only ones who can see guardian spirits?

(You)

It would've been better if they just made all Twilight missions active during midnight local time instead.

>Are William and Kelly the only ones who can see guardian spirits?
>All the Onmyo characters reference both spirits and the nekomata.
>Hanzo mentions spirits.
>Literally half the spirit gaining side-missions end with characters explaining how they got their spirit.
>Are William and Kelly the only ones who can see guardian spirits?

Really makes you wonder.

>It would've been better if they made all the Twilight missions active only during time neets can play them.

End your life.

The character directory literally says Hanzo can't see spirits that's why I asked.

William, Kelly, and the Onmyo mages are the only ones who can see guardian spirits, as far as I can tell.
Oh, probably Danjo too

Nice job not reading lore.

I'm hoping it clicks soon because during the FMGs i'm fucking lost. I almost wish they had an option to pop up "translators notes" like old fan sub animes used too.

Danjo is a spirit, he was spider lady's lord before he blew himself and everything up to spite Nobunaga

so who else cheesed the centipede boss by doing plunging attacks on it over and over?

Centipede is easy once you realize it's not as intimidating as it looks, you can just wait til it gets close and block the chomping attack, then dodge the shots and attack in between

Oh right
Still, he can certainly see spirits then

What happens at the end of the game?
Do you get to just replay any missions?
Does it force you into NG+ without any warning?

No, once you claim it it's deleted from your PS4 and you can never download it again.

>Twilight Missions advertised as hard modes of story missions you've already completed
>two finally show up that it actually lets me do
>pick the very first mission
>it's a level 15 mission and easy as fuck

I've been bamboozled

yeah I realized that once it was almost dead and I went into RAGING BULL mode with my spirit to finish it off. It has a hard time hitting you it's kind of sad.

How do you speak to Tachibana Ginchiyo to open that door with the two lanterns? No talk prompt comes up when I face her.

Why would they do that?

The saika clan guy can see spirits. When you fight him to get Yatagarasu he notes that William can see them too and that his own father forced the power to see them on him. It makes sense though since the crow has a third eye and that's usually associated with zen and shinto buddhism of enlightenment.

Reminder to join the official /ng/ Discord! discord.gg/djtXTrv

Twilight missions need a rework. This is the first time I have been able to do them and it's worthless. Time to wait a week for good missions :^)

You unlock NG+ but it's more like an additional difficulty mode rather than starting from the very beginning, you have the first three regions and all missions in them unlocked from the getgo
touch the lantern

Why is high stance spear so broken? I might just respec into 3kat cause I want to have more fun

Sweet, thanks for the reply.

Yeah this whole only having two a day thing is retarded. Just give us access to them all at once after we've beaten the game - you unlock an twilight version for each regular version you complete. Nice and simple and you can play what you want.

I don't even understand the point of rotating.

It's not even the rotating thing that bothers me. Why the fuck is a """"""""""""""hard""""""""""""""" mode mission a fucking level 15 mission when I'm level 55?

Game text also has Ginchiyo sharing raiken with William. Honestly I'm just going to say that plebs can't see guardian spirits and be done with it.

> Just woke up.
> Started up Nioh.
> See that shit.

Huh.
Uh. Alrighty. This certainly seems a tad unnecessary.

Where do you choose your faction? I'm only on the third main mission at lvl 35 so I don't know if it's an option that is unlocked later on it's own

It made since in the demos. Beat the mission? He's a hard version around the same level you can do it again for different enemies/gear.

In the full game it's pointless because by the time low level ones roll around you're way outgearing them anyway. At the very least they should all be higher level than whatever the NG+ versions are.

With a gesture or something? No prompt comes up on any side of either lantern, just ruined some poor visitor's day. Am I glitched or just retarded?

You're only on third mission just play the game.

Should just be a prompt, sounds like a glitch

You do realize that your issue is a rotation issue, the rotation is giving you twilight version of the first missions, which you should have played at around lvl 10, but instead it gave you lvl 150 twilight which you can't even attempt at lvl 10 and when you're lvl 50 it gives you the lvl 10 ones cause "le randum xd"

I figured guardian spirits were like.. well, imagine one of those "warriors of legend" or whatever, super good samurai. They do some weird move with their sword like a stance and then start tearing ass through the battlefield. To everyone else they just went apeshit but to certain people they can see that he actually used spirit powers or something

Because it's hard mode with consideration towards the first region, not NG+.

Really though they need twilight levels to always be active no matter what.

No the rotation is not what bothers me. They could have made them scale with your level and the rotation would have been fine.

Quit to title screen and reloaded, still nothing. Am I fucked?

>Onryudo can easily juggle shitters that rely on second chance ninjutsu scrolls
Is there a more based enemy?

>Really though they need twilight levels to always be active no matter what.

Going to be hard since there's not going to be any reason to do a level 15 mission when you're well past 50

is there a cap of a single stat you can invest in on prestige? it seems rng if you get the best stat right after or not

That sounds bizarre, so you're in the room where you meet her, with the two lanterns, she spoke to you, and now you can't touch the lanterns or anything? Is she following you around or standing still?

We don't know yet. Nobody has even gotten close to finishing even 50% of the titles

She follows me even when I run around the level. This is starting to scare me.

>oh a twilight mission
>what's that
>accept mission
>first stage looks like it went through an oven
>yokai replacing every human
>lol burning wheel out of nowhere sucker
How about no thank you. I still stick with normal mode ;cause I ain;t playing against whatever replaces that bullshit oni in boat.

How the fuck does this work?

shut the game off. delete it from your ps4. If its a disc, microwave that fucker. Youll thank me later

Is there any armor with magic set bonus or am I stuck just throwing together anything I can find with magic power and unlimited power?

Jesus christ reddit is bad at this game

reddit.com/r/Nioh/comments/5t469i/umibozu_is_not_a_well_designed_boss/

Think one of the later game sets is magic-focused

What do the red swords mean?
