I wasn't sarcastic, I'm criticizing Mercedes for using french engines (the 1.5 dci is a great one and it's reliable) taken straight from a generalistic maker.

I'd understand sharing parts with another PREMIUM car maker sharing parts with a generalistic maker, from a different category and price tag, it's offensive either for the brand and for serious MB customers.
