2520 SR support/tank player, how do you play Hanamura/Volskaya/Temple?

Payload and KotH maps are pretty straightforward for me, and I think they're generally just easier to "get," but I feel like everytime I go into an attack/defend map, whether I'm attack or defend, my team and I are just utterly lost and every win I've had were pretty much just coin flips.

What calls should I be making on these maps to get my team to start actually doing shit?

there is no other way if you're new but don't suck.
I started playing after christmas and quickplay was fucked up for me. blizz has this weird system where they try to match you up mainly by skill but also by lvl. I ended up with 6min+ queues and played against lvl 300 mixed with lvl 10-20 because I can position my crosshairs on the heads of the enemy players. it was brutal. I'd lose all the time and get shit on when I tried to learn new heroes.
comp was so much easier to play in. got placed in plat and climbed to master in a month.

tl;dr: quickplay matchmaking is shit for low lvl players.
