HBG main, none of my weapons are going to be ready for MHXX since there is Diablos, a Deviant of Diablos, Lao, and Gravios returning. More than likely the Fatalis trio also who each have really powerful guns.

Regios just looks like Rathalos except for the Gunner helm which is god tier. Alot of Regios weapons also have a good design

I'd rather have a Deviant Seltas that controls and summons brain-dead Seltas Queens that can't function when Seltas isn't attached to them. Also, they didn't add enough Deviants of low-tier monsters.

That's what GS (predating gen) and aerial style are both like, and that's aerial GS so it's exponentially worse (most aerial styles at least get two aerial attacks, non-aerial GS gets moves to link charges together and a second type of charge you can combo into, but aerial GS is literally just one aerial charge move and you can't charge without being in the air). Mostly it's down to GS being a badly designed weapon. That's not even dominant strategy, aerial style for most weaps including GS is weak as fuck.

also reminds me that after ~100 seltas queens I FINALLY saw one eat her own drone the other day, I've been hoping for that to happen since I learned about it about 15 seltas queens in. It's fucking brutal, love how her eyes light up.

Like other deviants evolve on certain aspects of a monster's design, I feel the biggest staple of the Seltas is its horn and those bright orange talons he has.

That animation is probably one of my favorite in the series. Seeing the Queen thrash and destroy Seltas is really, really satisfying.

Its claws should evolve into shields and the horn should get bigger, no need to add spikes and shit like frontier, you can also cover its abdomen with a breakable.

But yeah, shield talons also seems like a pretty decent idea. Covering the Seltas Queen's face so that the weakest hitzone is more difficult to access, making it harder to knock the Tyrant off of whatever husk it's piloting.

Well, I finally managed to get a working battery for my XL, after not playing any monster hunter for close to a half a year, buy generations, and 2 quests into 5* quests, the joystick pad falls off. It's a simple fix, but I gotta wait a bit til I can buy some glue.
