If you have a bunch of other legendaries to build a fedora warrior deck and you're only missing Deathwing, you should craft him.

Although apparently dragon/Reno priest also took to running Deathwing these days.

Shadowverse packs

Besides just saving up. Be smart. You should do all your pack buying in the first quarter to first half of a new expansion. The meta wont shift after that time anyway so safe decisions can be made. After the first quarter to 40% (whenever you hit your final pity timer) you STOP buying any packs and craft what you want.

Then you just save up for the next expansion. I'll have about 70 packs just from gold when un'goro hits.

If the next set is an adventure you can spend some more time buying packs if it's actually useful for you. You should make a wishlist and once you've bought a decent number of packs and gotten a decent portion of them you just craft the rest you really want and quit buying more. No duplicates, no mess and you can instantly use new cards/decks instead of waiting till the last 2 weeks before a new meta hits and your crafts might be wasted anyway.

There are no viable midrange decks except pirate decks that curve out a bit higher than 4 mana and pretend to be """midrange""".
