I am brand new to all of this but I have managed to get luma on my system and am on 11.3. I want to get things like freeshop and custom themes. Do I need hblauncher to be working in order to do that?

Mostly the sense of loss I have after my last 3DS XL died upgrading from 2.1 to 4.5. I'm not sure why that killed it, but I think I'm done with 3DS hacks after that fiasco. I only play Monster Hunter and Pokemon anyways.

You can do that.
Its easier to go in FBI, remote install, scan QR code.

Most hombrew has QR codes you can find so you dont even have to mess with your SD card

Excuse my dumbness (long time since I used my o3DS), but how do you exactly update the hax payload? I'm trying to use ctr-httpwn, but it doesn't work because it requires version 2.8 of hax payload, and I'm using version 2.6 of my hax payload. My currrent boot.3dsx I'm using is the CtrBootManager.

And yes, I checked OP, but it didn't help.

I know anything vWii doesn't work on redNAND, but installing them to the nand and running them from a clean boot just gives me a 'this NNID has been deleted' error message.
