USB cigarette lighter charger

Increased max boost from 10psi to 15psi and adjusted fuel accordingly. Changed the boost control valve from version 5 to 7.

Installed wicked pisser blue silicon hose because the 21 year hoses were acting like blow off valves.

Lmao, I just replaced all of my car's interior lights with LED and it's fucking great. So clean and bright.

But other than that nothing. Well except tint. I have a Camry. Ain't gotta be fancy.

> Satnav
Essential for road trips.
> Plastic crate
Older than the car. Holds 60% of the crap I have floating around in the boot.
> USB stick
Stores music for the car stereo to play. Bought specifically for the car, because the stereo throws occasional shitfits with USB3.0, and it was just easier to buy it a cheap USB2.0 stick to avoid having to listen to the radio if that ever happened again.

I don't feel the need to modify my DD. It works fine as it came from the dealer, but just needed a couple of accessories to work.

Windshield wipers

underrated
also nice trips

'99 Acura Integra
>pioneer radio because muh blootuth
That's it really. I have a list of shit that I want to do to it though.

A sticker.

Xiaomi Roidmi, two stickers on the back and read vinyl on the dashboard trim.

>LIDAR jammer
Do those work? I thought if you get hit with a laser you're done for

I want a Hud for my car. How much did that cost you op?

Depends on the jammer, but if you have the right one for variable pulse LIDAR, it works great.

$299

what was the hud you bought? there's a couple of apps that make a hud like that.

Bought a navdy. Cell phone reflections aren't the same.

haha. saab?

>Bought a navdy
They've been raising their prices due to demand. It's now up to $599 at their website for the Navdy HUD.

I preordered it in 2014 for $299. They premiered it for non pre-order sale on their site for $799, started selling it at best buy for $599, and then now it's on sale for a "limited time" on their site for $499.

$499 is still fucking ritzy territory but at least it's on the right side of a thousand bucks.

back up sensor for my 2011 nissan navara. Its tinted to fuck so a sensor really helps, it even tells you how many meters away anything is.
a dascham too, with a screen integrated into the rearview mirror
i like adding shit onto it cause i love the fighter jet cockpit feel

>LED Headlight bulbs
>LED fog light bulbs
>Push Bar with 6" KC Daylighters
>2.75" BDS leveling kit
>33" Goodyear MT/Rs with 17" Fuel Wheels
>Cloud Rider kickback mud flaps
>Dual exhaust with a super 44
>Soft roll up box cover
>bed liner
I'll never get my money out of any of it

Ehhhhhhh, all relative. Personally, the only thing that might long term pay for itself is the radar detector + LIDAR jammer. Everything else is a creature comfort.

Well, forgot to mention the dashcam. Could easily pay for itself if I end up in an accident.

Winter tires and kitty litter.

Uh, shelf thing attached to ceiling with cb bolted to that, large bull bar with KC daylighters and an 8.5' whip attached, bed tool box

Why cat litter?

Extra traction if you get stuck in snow, same idea as sand.

>arcade fire
Kek

Oh, and steering wheel wrap and spinner, and dashcam hidden by and wired into the CB wiring

I'm supposed to listen to Neutral Milk Hotel on a loop, right?

Neat, I don't have to ever deal with snow but that's gonna be good to know

That's in the same category as Arcade Fire dipshit, they were even signed to the same label

How hard was it to put the backup sensor in? Brother has an Accord and is not spatially the best in a car. He has a backup cam now but not a sensor for the sides of the rear bumper...

All my mods so far are just mixed bits from higher spec cars.

>pic related HUD velcro'd to dash
>3-port USB charger in aux-power inside armrest
>Bluetooth aux-out adapter plugged inside armrest powered by 3-port USB charger
>Xiaomi Mi4C smartphone on magnet ball mount in airplane mode connected to bluetooth aux adapter for aptx bluetooth audio playback and GPS
>A118C dash camera connected to fusebox with fuse-tappers
>"FOX" glow in the dark metal gear solid badge with hemp wick hung off rear view mirror like an air freshener

Recently installed and in-awe at $25 chink COB LED headlights in projector housings instead of halogens. It gives better output than the factory $700 HID option, and the LED bulbs are rated for 50000 hrs of service while a HID bulb is normally rated for only 2000 hrs of service. If I never have to replace my low beams again this is the best $25 I've ever spent.

nice.

>fog lights
>23 inch led bar behind grill
>FM transmitter so i can keep my stock radio
>crate in the back with a bunch of shit

>cardboard box in the trunk to hold all my shit

Custom Exhaust (2.5")
Custom Tuned

Bread on hood

Indeed.

Was the install the same as normal head lights?

>Black Ice Driver Air Intake
>Steering wheel cover
>Sunshield with my manufacturers logo on it
All in all about 100 HP

How does it know what song is playing?

>Stanley 200 piece mechanic set
>Hawk 982 12ga shotgun
>dashcam
>grill guard
>custom fit all weather floor mats

Getting a tonneau cover and new head unit in the coming months.

It's connected to the phone via bluetooth, which is playing music to the radio via either bluetooth or USB (preference).

Universal seat heater for the cigarette plug.

>He bought wheels with a black lip
They might be 20"s but they look like 17"s.

>2008 cobalt ls
>single din Sony head unit bt/aux/usb/etc
>MTX 9500 12" Subwoofer w/ MTX Thunder Elite 1501d amp
>muh tools
>usb power supply

I have a PA system with a bullhorn mounted behind my grill. I've had it in my last three cars. Shit's really fun, I like saying "on your left" to bicyclists etc.

I paid $500 for my car with $230K in it. Radio doesn't work. A/C doesn't work. Terrible /diy/ tint job. half the windows won't work, and it has a bad seal and leaks oil. I ain't putting shit into it besides PM until it finally dies. Father is supposed to be replacing the seal this Spring.

People who spend money putting dumb shit in a depreciating liability are retards. I could have gotten a brand new car, but figured paying $500 for this beater is better than $350 monthly loan payments and $200 premium insurance vs $60 liability.

Give me a dirt bike or motorcycle and I'll make that purr however. Bikes are for fun. Cars are for getting point A to point B.

>17' Tacoma
>Tri-fold Tonneau cover
>Backup Cam
>Type S LED Off-Road mounted to bumper
>2" receiver with lock+key cotter pin
Planning to still get a guard, mud flaps, running board, all weather mats, 2'' lift, and larger tires by the years end.

>I paid $500 for my car with $230K in it.

>2'' lift, and larger tires

My 2017 Chevy Silverado LT Z71 Midnight

Gator bed cover
Road Hawk HD dash cam
Escort 9500ix radar detector
Full LED bulb upgrade
Ready LIFT 2 1/2" leveling kit

>Gator bed cover
which one did you get?

living where it snows looks like such a pain in the ass

Gator SR2

Yeah at times it does. Those banks were 3 feet high but we had a warm spell so we lost much on it. But we are going to be getting a big storm on Tue. They are saying over a foot again.

Did you do your gauges too?
I found the service manual for my car and it looks like it's a massive pain in the arse to replace the dash bulbs

it's also useful if you get in your car and there's a load of condensation on the windows

How do you jam a laser reflecting off of your car?

how does kitty litter help that?

>Warnx8000 winch
> Crawler Conceptz front bumper
>Banks cold air intake
>Cobra CB radio

I'm guessing it absorbs the moisture off the windows.

>Hawk 982
Most important accessory right there user.

I miss the old days when Veeky Forums had actual builders.
Pic related.

The sensor detects 904nm light (LIDAR) and when it does, spams a garbage signal that results in the gun getting no reading.

Short throw dipstick
OMWTFYB sticker

mods are for DEGENERATES

>told that teachin' lady....

>miss the old days
that's one hell of an aftermarket accessory
>when people could read

Now I want a HUD like that in my car...

Shieeeeet time to pony up half a grand for something I don't need.

They're like $50 user

headers, roof rack, coilovers, lcas, speakers, head unit, clutch and flywheel, different model trans if that counts, had an exhaust,

oh yea and wheels and tires obvi

cars with factory HUDs like BMWs or Camaros have a special coating applied to their windshields, otherwise you are stuck with a double reflection where the image is reflected back to you from both the inside and outside of the glass, which looks horrible. the only option for a clear image is to get one with its own reflective lens (expensive, big and intrusive) or come with the sticker for your windshield (doesnt look as good and everyone can see a dumb sticker on your glass from the outside).

2009 e92 335i
>jb4. the misfires are worth the $500
>remus race exhaust
>m-tech bumper and custom rear diffuser to install said exhaust(i got a sweet deal)
>bms intake
>dinan springs
>koni shocks
>3" catless AA downpipes
>brand fucking new michelin super sports to replace stock run-flats

Cheap Chinese ones that display the speed and rpms poorly, yes.

In focus ones that have onboard GPS and can display maps/route in front of you along with a variety of other info, no.

The Navdy comes with it's own reflective lens, as far as view in the car I wouldn't call it obtrusive. The form factor of the projection base doesn't block any of the road.

The lens is visible when outside the vehicle, I don't mind it except I worry about it as a theft concern. When parking somewhere safe (home or work) I'll just leave it in. Shopping centers, I'll generally fold the lens down and stick it in the glovebox if it's not somewhere that I feel is very well watched/safe so I don't end up with a broken window.

pink fuzzy dice

>high performance 14" all season tires
>lightweight polycarbonate hubcabs
>floor mat delete

why though

if you really need all that, perhaps the bus is a better option

Eibach Prokit springs, Koni Yellow shocks, H&R sway bars, MOOG end links. AEM short intake, Vibrant 4-2-1 header, catless custom 2.5" exhaust with magnaflow cylinder muffler, Massivespeed balance shaft delete, JBR motor mounts, EONON android head unit.
Thats most of it I think.

>needs vs wants/creature comforts
$500 shitbox versus a lexus etc.
different people have different priorities
