Fix your current car or get a civic for 3k

Excellent car
The 1NZ engine is super solid.
Only complaint i had when i drove one was freeway stability with such a short wheelbase.
Otherwise, its great.
I prefer the 4dr hatch
Kys

I should also mention, this will be my first car. I have been driving my sister's Accord.

I don't go on the freeway. There are mountains and hairpins inclined at aroud 30 degrees. Will this car be able to climb?

It won't die and will be endlessly reliable.
They've also got surprising aftermarket support.

Personally, I'd go for a sedan. It has a stiffer chassis and actually comes with an available tachometer. The hatchbacks do not come with a tach.

Also, only the sedan and the 2 door hatch came with a 5 speed manual. The 4 door hatch was automatic only.

between the transmissions, I'd go manual.

On another related note, Also consider the Scion xD. Same car underneath with a few advantages:
>bigger more powerful 1.8L engine
>everything is standard equipment versus optional cruise control and abs on the Yaris.
>The gauge cluster is in the proper place
>5 lug wheels
>bigger Corolla brakes

So If I wanted a Yaris, I'd go manual sedan. But with all the options, I'd rather get a Scion xD. Besides. I think the xD is better looking.

You're gonna hate the lack of power if you do it every day. I know I do in my econobox. What's your budget? Cash or financing? Do you have a job?

Whats the speed limit of said mountain road?
55mph and under is fine for the little yaris uphill.

toyota fanboys pls go.

the civic or fit is better in every way.

Go away fangirl.
Toyotas worst build quality is better than hondas best.
I will never own a honda again. I gave them two chances and even worked at a honda deal.
Never, ever again

Scion XD ... Never heard of it but I'll look into it.

Budget is 3000. Cash. NEET.

15 on the bend and 25 straight up.

Thanks for letting them know, Honda shill

This. Honda struggle and have bad build quality.

The Civic never competed with the Yaris. The Civic fought for sales with the Corolla.
The Yaris fought with the Fit.
And the Yaris has advantages over the Fit:
>faster, barely, because DOHC
>optional body styles
>doesn't leak like a sieve.
>better quality

post your local craigslist.

>Scion XD ... Never heard of it but I'll look into it.
Scion is United States and Canada only, so there's that, but they were great cars. While Lexus was Toyota's luxury division. Scion was the Toyota brand for youth. Even the advertising for the xD touted it as a hip cool blank canvas ready to modify.

Fuck off nigger.

No, thank you.

there's nothing wrong with these cars. stop being a faggot. you're not getting a yaris for 3k either. beggars can't be choosers.

>civic
>nothing wrong
Kek

I drive an VY SS commodore. My girlfriend drives a 2L ford focus.
I can tell you now that driving the focus is hell. I would never ever go backwards now. You really don't now what you're missing out on.

>Hatchbacks don't come with a tach

Is this an American thing? The 09 I sold today had one

>Is this an American thing?
yes

Any last words before I spend 3k? Yes, did a VIN check before thanks to Pearl

what car? post links

It's not online.
>Friend has 08 yaris
>I know he takes care of that car
>Ask him if he selling it
>Says yes
>Jew it down to 3000
>Super clean, interior, paint, seats, engine all 10/10
>135k miles, clean title, smogged, recently tuned up. Had documents of all he's done to the car.
So...

auto or manual? hatch or sedan? how many miles?

135k miles, manual sedan. Some user said sedan have more rigid chassis and obviously manual is more fun

So you're a faggot that came here for justification instead of actual suggestions? Kill yourself.

>buy friends car
>it breaks down and needs an expensive repair
>friendship ended
don't do it if you value the friendship

>yaris
>breaking
