Got a set of unused summer tyres on rims for Volvo 200-700 series if anyone wants to buy, got no use for them.

>and why
Because the engine is so fucking simple you can bang on it with a screwdriver, if shit fucks itself it's non-interference so you won't get fun times with valves meeting pistons, they made it for like 500 years so there's tons of documentation and parts, and the only thing that fucks people up is the flametrap.

Also it's painted bright red, like an Ork tank so it probably runs on Ork tech anyway.

>A few oil changes since 2004.
>Sit 4 years in damp garage.
>no gearbox or power steering oil change
>only problem is rust
>race it

$5000 (aud) in 2011

>Manual
>167kw
travelled 50000kms with out one mechanical failure
>Still chops heaps of cars at the lights

Whats your average (combined) L/100kms with one of these? 3.5 V6 right?

No idea, but it is good for the amount of power, manual helps though.

It also should be noted that non turbo redbrick's put out about 100hp.. it is about the most under stressed car engine u can think of in wide use.

Almost 300k km and still going strong. Rust however is another problem...

Most cars are perfectly fine as long as you actually maintain it.

I agree. LS motors are breddy good.

capable of taking a direct nucleair hit without a scratch, i tell you these things are tanks - with a bigger turn circle.

My gf has a 2004 Hyundai XG350 (koreabarge)

She paid $7k for it when it had 70k miles. It's now at 160k and the only maintenance has been oil changes, brakes and tires.

Anything with a Isuzu diesel.

or anything with 1.9 tdi, really

6G74 is top tier tank of a motor. All 6G7 blocks really.

Source: 07 ML Triton 2x4 Tray.

Inferior to Merc diesels.

B230F and all variants are fucking bulletproof. The majority of problems that stem up with these cars are faulty fuel pumps.

Once in a while you will see one with a blown headgasket. Stay away from those, you have to be really autistic to blow the hg on these fucking things.

they can reach 300hp with a 16t turbo, cam, and chip among other things.

where

I'd also suggest the engines in the Ford Panther bodies.

>4.6L V8
>200hp if you're lucky when it rolled off the factory line, 220 if it had dual exhaust and the updated intake
>do 1500rpm at 70mph and break half a million miles as a taxi once the police department finishes beating on it
