In half the VN's I've read I only go for 1 or 2 girls, start the routes of the others, but never finish them because I don't care.

And like that other guy said, some h scenes are plain bad.

If a route is terrible then I will skim though with liberal doses of ctrl rather than skip it outright just in case I miss some important reveal or character development/background.

Momoyo is the best in the original Majikoi, S and A adds shit tons of characters so from there on it becomes a lot harder to choose. Tsubame's simply yet perfect design stands out to people with taste.
