I believe the Su-25T gets a little diamond on the HUD when it detects a laser designator, so look for that.

There's some way to mod it, by setting the laser code lua with the ka-50, someone found the laser code used by the su-25T.

Looking to get into racing sims (Dirt, Forza, Project Cars, etc.)

I want the full on manual experience when driving, so im looking for a wheel, a set of pedals, and a shifter.

My platform is Xbone/PC.

I am considering getting the following:

best reccomendation is getting a used G27. I personally play PCars and Dirt Rally. Im trash but I really enjoy both titles, though im not experienced enough to tell you whether theyre good from a gameplay standpoint.

Is the Thrustmaster T150 any good? It's a bit over half the price of the Logitech wheels.

Also, is Project Cars actually good? I'm on the fence about buying it.

Get Project Cars if you want nice eye candy but questionable physics and tyre modeling, get Assetto Corsa if you want quality physics but you don't mind the graphic fidelity suffering a bit.

Honestly the official Assetto Corsa content is pretty damn good looking in addition to having fantastic physics. Also Assetto has mod support and PCars has no mod support.

PCars is kinda shit. Pretty, but its more in line with Forza/Gran Turismo than an actual sim.

Do what said and look into Assetto Corsa instead. It has far superior driving models.

the dcs a10 campaigns are good, except lance armstrong meme campaign. the red flag f15 campaign is good. su27 campaign also good

I've seen some desync and warping around in BoS as well. Usually it's because the person has a shit connection.

In this case it's because the Xcom and Greg are incompetent. All the other servers in DCS seem to have no problem with lag.
