>We're never getting more Bloodborne content

That's what FRC Roots are for. Infinite content forever.

For a skl/blt build, is 40/20/45/45 decent?

>No new game
>No new DLC
>Not even a new patch as big as 1.09
At this point I'd even take a chalice dungeon expansion

Great so our choices are the tripfag's thread or the technically first new thread with a retarded Pornhub OP image.

I hate you faggots.

I'm on my first playthrough

what the FUCK is this giant invisible thing

You need more eyes user

what is your most prized gem?

mine is a nourishing abyssal from Isz amygdala, off-shaped in radial form

Fuck you my image was great

I was grabbed by it outside of Cathedral Ward and then again while exploring and coming across a random empty room.

Don't spoil it for me but is it an important being in BB lore?

how do i get eileen to appear outside of the cathedral ward without buying the hunter chief emblem? some sort of shortcut through the old abandoned workshop? i dont understand

Yes.
What are you even doing here if you want to avoid spoilers?

Open all 3 gates. In the Cathedral Ward.

not sure if I should use the 8 twin shards to further + Tonitrus or invest in something else

hmm

Do vials/bullets? get more expensive as time goes on?

Your eyes have yet to open user

What are messengers anyway?

aborted fetuses from the cosmos

I'd be so happy if they just added the non-chalice bosses to the FRC roots. But nah, Sony hates the game, From hates it too, fuck the players that still to this fucking day do chalices over and over.
I wish this shit was on PC atleast then we could probably mod it do be able to just that.

Apparently they look like aborted babies, but I ain't really in a hurry to fact check that.

I like to think thence, they're the souls of miscarried children.

Thread's still young, move to the better one over this way.

Fuck off cunt

Fuck off cunt

>Tripfag apologists

Disgusting.

Who gives a shit? It was the first new thread posted. Nobody's doing it out of obligation to Lucy. Quit sperging out, you fucking idiot.

Which one was posted in the thread first, genius?

It was the first thread posted, POSTED, not made

Like those weird crawlers in the Frontier, they're just weird aliens part of a weird alien ecology.

Obligatory reminder not to reply to tripfags.

Pure STR or STR/ARC?

Str/arc a best, Wheel and Moonlight Sword are super fun and you can use fire Stake Driver too.

r8?

go 15 end and get 36 vit

What's the trick to beating Laurence's second phase? It's hard to hit him when he's screeching all over the arena, spewing and leaking lava. His first phase is easy, but he wrecks me as soon as he hits the second.

Whoa slugger, this isn't Dark Souls. Relevant softcaps are 25 and 50. Str/arc wants to run 25 strength and 50 arc, with the standard 40+ vit and however much endurance you're comfortable with.

stand to the left of him and you bait him into crawling in a circle around you with the occasional swipe that you need to dodge

Would Fire Stake Driver still work with Charge+ gems? Getting 3000 damage on a charged R2 with my old 50 STR build was a fucking treat.

Also, how much harder is it to get elemental gems.

If I'm not mistaken, striking gems only affect physical damage. Even if they didn't you'd still want cold abyssals and a fire gem to get the fire conversion, because that way your rocket punches will do double damage thanks to oil urns. Threeshotting FRC Amygdala is a riot.

Elemental gems aren't too terribly hard to grind, but it'll definitely take longer than physical gems if you're going for the best possible setup.

Thanks, I'll try it out tomorrow. It's rough since his charge attack hits for a good chunk of my health on NG+, it's hard to evade too.

>Getting 3000 damage on a charged R2 with my old 50 STR build was a fucking treat.
You can get 3k on an elemental Steak Dinner without Charge Atk Up, which I think may only affect Phys damage anyway.

>helping some guy in hamelet
>kill the winter lanterns
>still taking residual damage from them as if they're still alive
is this what ascending is like

IS Ebrasiasiais really as hard as everyone says?

What should I roll for my next themed character: Long-Lost Cainhurst Noble, or Powderkeg Hunter of Hunters?

Base game version? No, not really, provided you aren't underleveled for it.

Chalice? Depends on your level, playstyle & how gud you are.

Base game 127.

Also I'm at Mergo. I know who the last boss is so I know I need to go into the hunters dream to fight him. At what point in the game can I no longer level up and use the Hunters Dream?

Powderkegs have all the fun weapons. Stake Driver, Cannon, Whirligig, the motherfucking BOOM HAMMER...

All they lack is an awesome-looking set to go with it.

Hey /BBg/. Blind run first timer here. Been popping in and out of threads with questions. I'll so I'm level 41 right now. 13 endurance, 30 strength, 25 Vitality. Everything else is at base stats the sole survivor starts with. Currently using the Hunters Axe+6 and non upgrade blunderbuss. Is the Axe viable for the entire game as a pure strength build? I have the Kirkhammer a go and it's simply too slow and it's move set a shit compare to the axes reach in which mode.

Also, when do the "hard bosses" come in? I just killed vicca I think her name was? The lady who turns into a giant beast and can heal herself. Not meming, I'm having a rather easy time of this. Is there soon to be a difficulty spike similar to Capra demon or Biggy Smalls from DaS1? Also is it possible to bug out vicca? Or is there a poise system like in Das? I ask because when she was at less than 33% HP, she damn near stopped attacking entirely. She wasn't stuck in the wall or anything, just not moving much. I was really beating on her though, so was I like stun locking or constant poise breaking her?

Last is sometimes when I'm killing a boss, after enough consecutive hits, I hear the sound as if I pulled off a timed gun shot. Does that mean the boss is open to a visceral? I usually just use the time they're down as an excuse to empty my stamina bar in hits on their ass.

Yeah I was leaning towards that one since, while I like the chikage's idea, I don't really want to be what's probably a million katana users. GunRapier is pretty fucking cool, though. But that's why I have a rifle-spear. Also the charred hunter set is sort of a powderkeg armor set, imo.

how the fuck do Rom's spiders do over 1000 damage to a level 98 character with the harrowed garb on?

yeah fuck that

Honestly, i'd call that overlevelled for finishing the main game, to be honest.

As for the final boss, that will never lock you out of the dream & levelling. The fight takes place in a different area inside (behind the locked gate).

However, if you beat it and haven't done some special spoilerly stuff throughout the game, beating him will immediately kick you to NG+ so i'd do all the optional content first.

>Is the Axe viable for the entire game as a pure strength build?
Yes, Axe will be fine, though there's always the chance you'll find something else later on.

>Also, when do the "hard bosses" come in?
This is pretty subjective, i'd personally say the optional bosses tend to be harder (when you're the appropriate level for them).

>Also is it possible to bug out vicca? Or is there a poise system like in Das?
Not entirely sure, but that sounds like a bug.

>Last is sometimes when I'm killing a boss, after enough consecutive hits, I hear the sound as if I pulled off a timed gun shot. Does that mean the boss is open to a visceral?
Does the boss kind of stagger and hold still for a sec? If so then yeah. Keep in mind that you might need to be somewhere other than directly behind them to trigger the visceral - most bosses are done from the front or on a different weak point (eg head).

The other possibility is you broke a limb, in which case you'll do more damage attacking it until the boss heals it.

Hard to say which without a video showing it.

>Also the charred hunter set is sort of a powderkeg armor set, imo.

Eh, it's found in the same area as the only main-game powderkeg hunter, but the lore notes on the set descriptions don't seem to link.

Also it looks meh and the collar clips through half the hairstyles.

Yes I kind of wish I recorded my fight with vicca. She's wasn't completely stock still, but she was hardly attacking compared to before. Shed toss out a single swipe here and here but nowhere near agressive as she was when I started the fight.

And yea the boss goes on like their hands and knees panting for a few seconds. I'm usually hugging their backside when this happens or their head is against a wall so I can't reposition fast enough. Plus before this I didn't even know visceral attacks were even possible on big bosses.

And it's good to hear the Axe is viable. I like it a lot. Thanks for the help.

I just want to be high enough level to beat Chalice and Queen. That's all I care about my levels for.

why the fuck do people beckon for help on depth 1 and depth 2 dungeons when they are level 60+?

As soon as I see that big gold pthumeru / central-pthumeru chalice appear on the makeshift altar, I want to puke. I wish there were a way to cancel as soon as you see what dungeon it's in. Instead I have to rudely leave as soon as I spawn in

What's the best weapon to use if i don't intend to put any points into damaging stats?

As a general rule of thumb, are FRC chalices the places to get the absolute best blood gems?

All the mods for the Dark Souls games are either minor graphical adjustments or dumb shit like weapon and armor reskins, Bloodborne wouldn't be different

There are no souls in this game

Yes.

I love bloodborne but there are more glitches than any other Souls game desu

it's the only flaw i can think of

>glitches
Like what desu?

What glitches? The speedrun has less skips than every other souls game.

floating statue in Old Yharnam, just above the bridge when you enter. That tower in the right corner, when you roll off of it onto the patch behind the fence you fall through the map.

Sometimes enemies will just fall into the ground or get stuck inside a cave ceiling.

I've encountered a few other weird glitches, some more minor than others. Never had any issues with DS1 or DS3. Maybe it's just my copy

>BB2 announced
>Players skeptical at first but it actually turns out to be really good
>Many eagerly reach the end in only a few days
>Final boss is the Doll
>Most players absolutely heartbroken about having to kill her but it's soon forgotten when a boss that looks like the amalgamation of the moon presence and the old one from DeS shows up
>"The Last Great One" is it's name
>Tough as fuck boss but post folk on here power through it
>When its healthy finally depletes a cut scene plays
>The monster raise off the ground out of the shot, our hunter standing in the back and staring as a pair of very familiar boots and coat tails descend back into the shot
>Oh shit, it's the poster boy hunter
>He begins to bow
>Suddenly a curved blade comes out his chest
>He falls to the ground as a massive amount of Blood echoes start to swirl around the one who killed him
>It's the fucking Bloody Crow of Cainhurst
>True final boss is a super powered edgelord, his theme being Crawling by Lincoln part only in Latin and sung by a choir

bb2 will be announced when we find guidance 3

So, uh...where exactly do I need to stand in this courtyard to get into the DLC?

Amygdala just won't pick me up.

And yes, I have the eye, I checked. Twice.

Just stand where you found the hunters garb and tophat

Stand behind the tree where you found the top hat.

Anyone got any tips on how to kill bone ash hunters reliably and safely? I don't even mean for farming; every time I encounter one anywhere in the dungeons they destroy me. They never walk at you, so charged R2 cheesing is useless

How the fuck did they do it? I can still get fun out of this game by simply obliterating everything with the saw cleaver. It's just too visceral. Great sound design really goes a long way.

What level do people hang around the dlc on NG+? I stopped levelling at 121 trying to get a summon for Laurence

Git saw or bom or whatever

...

>Hand Lantern reduces your stamina regeneration rate

Fugg

Wasn't that in the vanilla version?

What? Isn't it patched away?

Dono will test later tonight
I just read an article idk

Gimme an idea of something to draw.

Patch 1.04 had it removed according to the wiki
>The hand lantern page in general
Why is fextra so trash sometimes

Would adding a nourishing gem wih fire atk as secondary screw up the scaling on a HMLS, or can i add it and still mantain the normal scaling?

It'll maintain the normal scaling but the fire would be nearly useless since it's too small and will be severely cut to add any damage.

Henryk and papa Gascoigne doing hoonter things together

It's a really, really good thing that Micolash was so memorable and important as far as lore was concerned, because he is not a fun or well-designed boss. The whole thing comes down to whether or not he uses A Call Beyond and you can't interrupt it. Just a standard hunter fight could've been somewhat fun, but he isn't even that. Why couldn't the fucker have had some unique arcane weapon so he could both fight you in melee and have some fun loot.

mugenmonkey.com/bloodborne/22262
This look about right for a STR/ARC build focused on using the HMS/Boom Hammer?

Yes, I'd take 2 out of End and put into Skl for Church Pick but that's up to you.

Church Pick? Isn't that a SKL weapon? Or am I missing something about it.

Decided to replay bloodborne after almost 2 years break
Want to try some early arcane build
Any easy to get arcane scalling weapon without even needing to kill mid game bosses? Except Amygdalan Arm and Tonitrus?

Convert it with fire/bolt/arcane gems and it's an Arcane weapon. Same for any pure physical weapon.

Amy Arm is Pure Strength. Saw Spear is a popular early fire weapon.

AMMY ARM THE ONLY WEAPON FOR PURE MACE POSSIBILITIES.

Hoooo boy, didn't think I'd be getting back into Chalice Gemming so quickly. I can only assume the elemental gems that make a physical weapon good as an arcane weapon are a bitch to get?

Not really, Cold Abyssals are easily farmed from Elder, whose 2nd phase can be cheesed with Black Sky Eye spam. 2 Colds is usually needed for converted weapons. The last slot will either be a Watcher 27.2% elemental Triangle or a Fire/Bolt Abyssal from Hotdog/Abbhorent Beast.

Anything I should wrap up before I go fight Rom?

How do you usually deal with Maria's second and third phases? It's not the first time I've beaten her, but I feel like I'm playing hit and run more with this build (BLT). The range increase and additional hit in her third phase is fucking me. I just want my Bloodletter because I don't care for the Chikage too much.

Have you got all the NPCs at the Chapel? Have you killed Henryk with Eileen?

There's a pic in the OP for missable stuff. Biggest things to look out for is sending people to the Chapel/Clinic and Eileen's quest.

Good morning east coast anyone want to fight Logarius with me?
