Oh yeah, when you start up blender it tends to be zoomed into a big box. If you're still zoomed in on that box, zoom out: the body's ankles will be right above it, out of camera view

No I don't import textures either; I just leave the texture in the same directory as the mesh in a .png format (like body.png) and it'll load it, just make sure it's in the diffuse line of the .nif

There's probably way less convoluted methods but I'm a retard that doesn't want to learn Blender's ins and outs so I just do what's barely required to get the job done

but yeah, zoom out, tilt up, make sure it's not just hiding

So /tesg/, I'm using Nehkanimal's Awesome Vampire Overhaul for Oblivion and I can't feed from corpses or animals. Does anyone know how to fix this? i installed the mod after becoming a vampire, if that has anything to do with it.

Do you not have any of the DLC? If so you need the Unofficial Patch for the base game. Probably won't fix your issue but that's the first thing I noticed.

CoT is recommended in the guide from the OP. I don't know what the memory patch is, do you mean the x64 enabled thing? I had it enabled on a prior ENB but since removing that ENB (with tool) and trying TKRE which looks like vaseline all over my screen, not sure why and removing that too, I've not had the warning popup about x64 memory when launching. Haven't installed Crash Fixes, I'll get on that.

CBBE is outdated trash with a lower poly model than UNP and about 70% less mods for it, not to mention all those conversions and plugins for racemenu

Bellas is literally one of the worst textures out there and if you did not notice that while playing, there is no more hope for you as you have been born with abysmally shit taste. tesgeneral.com even warns of using bellas. the waifu section has tons of textures to use.

I use the latter but I really don't like it because when you choose a "class" it usually gives you shit for equipment.

So I just built a new computer after using a glorified toastie machine for the better part of 4-5 years (it ran ck2 and eu4 very well, but with Skyrim I had to stick to gameplay, weapons and armour mods)

Should I be going for 2k textures with these specs, or should I stick to the 1k ones recommended by STEP (useful for finding obscure mods)?

Bear in mind that this computer was built after saving money by way of an incredibly difficult dry january and was still pretty budget.

Brilliant, it's all just pretty overwhelming. My old graphics card was a radeon 5850 with an i7 860. This is a pretty huge step up for me, for starters it's the first time where I've booted a game and it's automatically gone into ultra high quality.

The cooler was the worst. Why bother making them so fucking sharp. Getting the fan off with my bitten nails and ham fisted rugby hands that are only good for wanking and punching, was nigh impossible.
