so what's this i keep hearing about bandos armor not actually being the best for general use

what is general use may be different for some people
some people use food+tank gear, some just use protection prayers and prayer armor

Bandos actually has great ranged defense (better than barrows) but inferior melee defense. It is by no means the end all pvm armor

A lot of slayer tasks can be done efficiency in prossy with a protection prayer up and verac skirt or torags armor give better bonuses for the purpose of tanking iirc

efficiency implies you're doing it the best way possible, so this is wrong because you need bandos for max xp rates
