I'm fairly new to this game and currently leveling a warlock through low level dungeons for a while ,as I found questing boring. My dps is absolutely abyssmal though. Mobs and bosses get rekt so fast and hard by people with heirlooms that my dots hardly have a chance to do their work. Should I just not even be bother with dots on anything but bosses? I've tried destruction as it seem a bit less dot heavy but I still feel like I'm hardly any contribution at all to the group.

there's no point doing anything as a caster in a low level dungeon. Just let the melee DPS carry you and hope your tank isn't a BRM

I like exploring the world and questing as Tank, but Dungeons/Raids/Pvlol as DPS though
I have everything at 110, with Mage the most geared although not by much and nothing has had the perfect/fun match of theme and gameplay like Warlock and Hunter had for me in WoD

whenever I try to level through dungeons I always notice that monks get completely rekt in 40-50 dungeons. I think it might be because the daily XP buff means they level faster than they gear

My best geared still awful geared is a Mage, still trying to get up the incentive to level a 10th 110 for my Spriest though.

I really don't like the gameplay outside of elites/bosses, but adore the theme, artifact and that it actually feels outside the Voidform hardcast like all of the abilities were designed to work with each other, including the Artifact ability, which I haven't really felt with the other casters.

Are you actually talking about Legion Prot Warr? Because that's the most boring tank spec for me, while Blood is definitely the most fun. Blooddrinker, Gorefiend
I have both at 110. Frost is one of the most fun specs with Breath of Sindragosa. But the mobility and lack ofutility and anything else except damage really made me drop the DK.
Fury is really fluid and mobile, very versatile, you got leaps, charge, shockwave, commanding shout. Very liked in M+.
Both specs have at least 5 good legendaries, so you don't need to worry much about getting trash.
DK has the best campaign of them all, boring order hall and great weapons.
Warr has a nice order hall, weapons look like canoe paddles.

So to sum up: I like frost playstyle a lot more, but being so fucking slow and offering NOTHING to your party/raid except a combat res enraged me in every m+ and raid.
With fury I feel much more useful and also those blood gushing sounds on every ability sound incredible. Rotation can be a bit annoying if you can't reach 100 rage quickly, but still is great.

By the way never consider a caster class ever again.

I have no fucking idea, maybe they just suck in that level range. But I always see monk tanks get BTFO while others have no problem

I'm really regretting casters this expac, as much as I like the idea/theme of them, they're incredibly unfun and slow.

I was talking about Protwarrior, but that's mainly becasue I love thunderstomping and having Sword&Board.
Saying that, I'm not sure about Blood, or why I'm unsure. I found the artifact and artifact quest for it a bit underwhelming, which is probably why I'm a bit turned off by it.

The lack of utility/mobility is rather unfun though, despite summoning Sindragosa and breathing icebreath being awesome.

Might go with Warrior then, thanks for the help user.
