You absolutely need friendlies to push at the same time, most preferably after Rein's shield is down (so you don't get split) and have the friendlies start advancing before you jump since unlike you, they still have some distance to cover the regular way.

Only times Winston can win on his own is if he's against Genji, Widow, perhaps Hanzo. Attacking Lucio on your own is useless while Ana can easily cuck you with a sleep shot and escape.

Dug in defense means Torbjorn, Sym and soon Bastion.Winston can't do shit against them (excluding sym turrets)

Depens on whether it's trying to be serious or not. Overwatch is a multiplayer game with no story mode, so, it would be very limited with what it can do. Without tension, it wouldn't be very interesting unless it had something other than plot to keep you watching.

I'm at a university in England, and even with the amazing internet that we have here I still have at least 100ms ping if I try to play on the American servers.
I don't know how people can play with even worse connections, or why they would actually choose to by picking a different region's servers.

Not what i meant. The conflict is not resolved in the game and most likely will never be. You can't really give it a conclusion, but you also have same problem as the Clone Wars cartoon. You can't have them just shoot each other in the face, but you also can't have them not shoot each other in the face when they really should do it.

This is why it would be better to not focus on the story and, as you said, show the characters interact. Maybe even completely throw seriousness out of the window and have them shoot each other. Reaper sewing costumes for others on Halloween, D.Va and Sombra fighting online without realizing it, Soldier 76 being an old fart trying to keep up with the new generation, Mercy drowning in her work as injuries get more ridiculous with each patient, Zarya and Reinhardt having a contest to see who's stronger, etc. Whatever seems entertaining.
