Playing around counters isnt hard, but it will frustrate a fuckton of people for a while.
how does ryu parry work for example:
i can parry ken l. shoryu but not h. shoryu because it has more ticks of damage?
You can cancel parry into another parry for multi hit moves
You have to parry every hit
you can parry both. if a move has multiple hits you simply gotta parry those too.
A successful parry in SFV can cancel in itself so you can parry an infinite amount of moves.
A parry has recovery though so if you mistime it you will be exposed for some time.
Every time they take the servers down the numbers never drop below 400 despite there being very little to do offline.

Steam and SFV is mostly made up of American users. The times the servers have gone down have been when they'd be at work or asleep. Despite this, the CCU count has never veered outside of ~500 when the servers have gone down.
On top of that, versus mode played on PC is practically nonexistent.

2 was good but is too flawed to still get taken serious. A product of its time.
3 was shit and will forever stay shit.
4 is flawed but has all the fundamental fighting game mindgames going on even.
5 is an early access scam and will never get fixed at this rate. A product of its time and sony.
