Reposting since I got in right as the thread was ending.
So I've only ever really played a Warlock and Hunter in the past. My preferred playstyle in most games is best described as "maximize a single move and try to do a shit-zillion damage with each hit while being next to useless otherwise." For instance, I played an Infiltrator in Mass Effect, and relied solely on my massive rifle, with little to no back-ups.
Is there a class that best fits this in WoW? I felt like Warlock was pretty close with trying to get crits with Shadow Bolt, but I was hoping there was something else. Any ideas?

I have literally never had a good experience with silithus syndicate. The one priest from there i grouped with wiped our group by accident then got passive aggressive over it and started complaining about other people not doing good dps (was a fast run apart from the priest screwing it up). Literally the worst priest/instance member i have ever grouped with on elysium. No meme he was terrible.
The only other syndicate member i grouped with straight up just ran to a chest and looted it when there was something in it someone else needed. He then laughed about it and left the dungeon early.
