So I haven't done much with online, does the online lobby actually show everyone who is online at the time or just a random handful of people?

Random handful, it has lobbies that it'll toss you into. Usually if people want to meet up we have to pass around names and use team invites to drag someone into the same lobby.

Good news for you is that you can keep three of the samemail move equipped. Bad news is that other than the powered up versions, the kamehameha variety is lacking compared to XV2.

i assume the more powered versions take more ki to use though? So you could three different sizes for all occasions?

No, they just deal more damage. Their cost stays the same. They may slow you down more afterwards though, not sure.
