Not too shabby, you have a pretty narrow dof so only like the top of the headers is really pretty sharp (I'm on my phone so I can't tell super well) I'd shoot with a bit more narrow f stop to get more of the engine in focus

Holy fuck twist until it focuses. It's not hard!

Use your led screen instead of your view finder and zoom in on like your license plate and adjust the focus by hand from there until you see the lettering clearly

Use a relatively wide aperature (around 1.8-5.6) and just remember you'll need to have a longer shutter speed the higher number your fstop is
