The CB1000r supposedly is among the best handling bikes in existence and torque is key to having fun on uphill country roads.

I had a 390 Duke. One of the rear turn signals fell off after a few hundred miles then the neutral sensor stopped working a few hundred miles after that. I traded it in for an FZ-07. It was a fun bike but the build quality was just too subpar.

Buying the bike and all repairs and parts I spent about 750. I sold it for 1600

in regards to power sure but the MT 10 also gets all that technical shit, has an SP version which puts it pretty much on the technological level of the R1 and it just sounds great due to crossplane crankshaft.

I've read that the new Suzuki had pretty good suspension as well.

I just think this is a great time to be into bikes.
