I hate the fact that BMW made it FWD for the current gen. The previous one had a RWD platform.
I'd get one and wouldn't mind the "soccer mom" stereotype. I would just rather use it like a wagon. Now that it's a FWD no. I might also look into buying the prev gen soon.

Considering most people will be buying compact SUVs as an appliance, FWD is the way to go. RWD is difficult for unskilled drivers to handle on snow, ice or high speed.

I have a 2011 508 GT landbarge, don't really like wagons though.
The 3008 and 5008 seem to be really fucking comfy (take a look at the interior) and both look great.

better than the X3 since its an actual BMW. but really, do yourself a favor and get a 330 or something, xdrive if you are worried about getting stuck. But if you REALLY want a bmw SUV the X3 is at least better than the X1. Not good, better
