It's just boring. It's the same as 2 with a boring open world and tons of pointless challenges you're given almost no incentive to complete. The story also sucks and wraps up way too early, I was in disbelief when the game ended where it did.
The novelty of gliding is lost very fast, especially if you're played JC2 on PC and used mods. I legitimately nodded off a few times while traveling from point A to point B with the glidesuit. The world looks great but it's just a bunch of bullshit. Long empty stretches of nothing. I get that that's how the world is in most places but it's a fucking video game, no one is gonna complain about a lack of realism in fucking Just Cause.
