The point is they pretended to be just some guys with a u tube show. When in fact they were a large cooperation ie hotrod/motortrend. then they got mad at u tube changing their pricing structure now you pay them directly for stuff you can watch free. They were must using u tube for advertising MTOD. Shit is old and stale now when it gets to u tube. Plus everyone already watched the live streams for free right when they come out on their pay channel.

Anyone who gets fooled by this shit in the first place is a moron though, shows like this don't just show up out of nowhere (at least not as good quality/production values as roadkill).

With enough money and marketing, even shitty ideas/channels can become popular while the ones that actually deserve to be successful get drowned in the shit.

I don't think it's people being lazy though, let's be honest - A popular channel can do whatever they want and it'll be liked whether it's half-assed or done well. An unknown or smaller channel can put their heart and soul into a really awesome video and the moment they post it to reddit to promote it, it gets downvoted to hell no matter what it is.

It's the same problem as needing money to make money - those who lack an established fanbase/army of shills can't rise to the top and those who already have everything float up there forever.
