Are you talking about the one with Thatcher on Chalet or Article 5? If it's the former, clear out the map of as many enemies as possible before picking up the hostage. The more enemies you kill inside the map, the less you have to deal with at the extraction.

If it's the Thatcher one on Chalet I found what worked best for me was going all the way around to the bonfire area, and rappelling up to the master bedroom. The hostage is there, so you only need to clear the one room, get him, get out, and run around the edge of the map towards extraction

You can drop the hostage whenever to pick them off with your rifle instead of having to pistol them all

Haven't played since it first came out. What's wrong with shields?

Blitz' head hitbox is bugged, ETA on fix unknown
He can get headshot through his shield since it shakes when shot and can cause his head to clip through to the front of his shield when shaking from the bullets

Other than that, shields are fine

because pro players play slow and drone well enough that kapkan becomes worthless. frost has more utility as she can freely place traps and actually create risk when entering via window and when strafing while ads

I balance him by giving him a water gun and random tripping like in Smash Bros

The meta is transitioning to angle grips now, since they've all realized you can control recoil yourself if you practice, but you can't do shit about the gun-raise-from-sprint time without it.

Today people just try to kick me for literally no reason.
I was Ash and I was on Coastline and I was rappelling right underneath the hook on a balcony and shot a guy in the head that killed two guys on my team. Those two (who were prolly in a group) voted to kick me.
Did they expect me to kill him earlier than that?
Did they not like my rappelling?
Did they not like Ash?

theres nothing set in stone user. team setups of 5 roamers or 5 point defenders can work out. as long as the roamers come back to the point when they need to at least
