In a few months, the game will be nothing but Link spam. Link monsters are what allow mass Extra Deck summoning in the first place, so they synergize perfectly with each other, allowing you to spam as many as you want on one turn just like people used to do with Synchro and Xyz. Nothing is going to change besides every other non-Link and non-Main-Deck-focused archetype being murdered.
