Realistic single-player is great fun, my only complaint is starting from the beginning of the level again.

For me that just isn't fun unless the level has branching paths or something, the number one killer of enjoyment in a single-player mode is just doing the same thing again. It isn't hard, that "same thing" isn't the thing I had trouble with/killed me, it's just time consuming and a strange punishment.

Make the combat brutal, make it deadly, make the level like trying to walk through hell if your feet have been replaced with your balls, but don't make me kill the same mindless enemies again in the same locations with the same pop-ups and cutscenes and everything because that doesn't make me go "Wow that was fun!" it makes me go "Eh, do I want to spend 20 minutes doing the same thing again?"

This isn't actually a criticism of For Honor itself but this thing in any single-player situation. If the area i'm repeating was difficult it would be different but the areas themselves aren't difficult in most games.

Youre locked out of a fuckload of style, and you need more levels to get matched with better players, i got to rep 1 purely off duels but it was slow, and alot of the better players who no lifed it are rep 4 but i rarely get matched with them, and they're the only people who pose a challenge to me, most rep 1s and 2s are trash, and anything under is typically a joke. I enjoy playing the actually hard to fight against players who i can train to fight better with law. i find it actually depressing when i legit can get away with shove into gb cheese and people cant fight against it. i have a 90% winrate in duels and i dont want it to be this way cause most of it is human trash i 3-0 body with zero problems. So yes the huge xp bonuses being tied to shitty ass retard modes is awful. Plus i miss out on alot of style nigga, how am i gonna be pimp knight without it.

Use the non-lock on sprint + RB its bleed and fucks people up and its probably the best way the help an ally. Focus on dodging to the sides then hitting them with the bleed strike. Im okay at Nobushi but im pretty awful at switching up my attack direction
