It's dumb because I'm a reaper main and can easily get gold or silver for every match almost for elims and damage but that doesn't mean I'm playing well.

My best reaper games are when I'm flanking constantly and killing key targets which won't get me gold medals usually.

On top of this if some genji and s76 only players join my game it's easier for me to win if I just swap to reinhardt or fill as a healer.

Instead of a tank buster, I usually play him as a squishy buster, you can 2-shot most non-tank heroes in the game, and most of them aren't very good at close range.

Reaper has to engage Roadhog at a range where he only needs one solid bodyshot or one hook to kill Reaper, where Reaper has to dump 4 shots into hog at minimum. This is ignoring that Reaper would have to get in range of Pathboar, who has a vastly larger threat radius than Reaper does.

Most of the priority heroes for Reaper aren't meta themselves: Zenyatta isn't good, McCree is outmatched by S76, Mercy is dogshit at the moment, and Ana can just duel Reaper and win thanks to le burst damage maymay
