Why is the beginning of DS3 so time consuming and dull?
So I'm in the middle of my Ultima Weapon Cloud Strife cosplay and I came up with a Lionheart Squall cosplay if anyone wants to play or gank.

So I know Dark Souls 2 got derailed badly halfway through development, since From didn't like what then-director Shibuya was doing with it. Shibuya was taken off the project and was replaced with Tanimura, who had to scrap together whatever he could from whatever assets they had on hand in order to finish the game.
What exactly were the original plans for DS2? I've seen bits and pieces of concept art (Iron Keep, Majula, Emerald Herald), some level designs that people dug up from files (Things Betwixt, Gutter, Earthen Peak connected to Undead Crypt, and Drangleic Castle being connected to Shaded Woods). What was it about DS2's original designs and plans that made From kick it's director from the game?

Don't forget they'll have their own version of Farron Flashsword that will likely do more damage and be unparryable, plus a Curved Sword that can cast pyros.

The corvian knights are the only threat in that area and you never have to fight more than one at a time except for inside the chapel.

You can go for meme 66str and use something like yhorms machete or millwood battle axe. If that's not your cup of tea then leveling vit and stacking poise for hyperarmor trades is also viable.

Tell me if this is my GPU dying or the game sometimes has this graphical glitch on the bottom left corner. When I move the camera around it starts replacing that specific segment of the screen with random textures, but the GPU isn't running amazingly hot.
