Aggro roach was never good. It never had any real advantages to other aggro decks other than unexpectedness. Everyone's running control nowadays which shits on aggro, and combo roach shits on control so combo roach is the best atm.

Yes, they do. CCGs are have an RNG element by definition. Unlike Rock Paper Scissors where one type of throw 100% wins or 100% loses to another, the win rates are closer to 50%. Assuming the skill between two players are equal, one can still be fucked over by bad draws and lose to RNG.
