I just realised something.

The adds for the lower base spec of my car were videos of regular everyday people driving with their kids and other boring stiff and focused on how practical it is.

The ads for the higher up model with disc brakes were like "this cars really cool, and drives nicely" and featured videos of it going around sharp bends and getting chased by italian gangsters and stuff.

I've never noticed that before.
