Is 55,000 a year at 20 good?

Is 55,000 a year at 20 good?

Like I know I make more than everyone I know my age but is it really that good?

Where do you live?

louisiana

Doesnt matter what you make youre still an insecure fucking faggot

Nope. Top 1% is good.

I'm 25 making 55k.

90% in the US make 30k or less.

Holy shit me too.

move to peru

Yes that's very good. What industry? Is there room for upward mobility?

humblebrag thread please go

fuck off

im 21 and I make twice that, sorry sport.

I just turned 18 and make $69,420 a year, so no not really.

What do you people fucking work in?

I'm 17 and I made $45,000 last year, $33,000 the year before.

I did it by typing out in a post that my age was 17 and then typing out that i made large but believable amount of money this year and smaller more believable amount of money the year before.
I then solved the recaptcha and clicked post.
That is how you are reading that that is how old i am and how much i made.

>69420
Haha

Its a pretty good salary, but the keys to whether you are doing well really are:
1) How much are you saving/investing?
2) How much are you going to be saving/investing in 10-15 years based on the path you're on?

Its ok for a single guy im 22 making 100k literally welfare tier

hmm

No try harder.

There are millionaires your age now.

25 making 45k with 40k in the bank.

I buy guns and bullets and that's expensive or else I'd have more saved.

>this
>wtf are all you early 20yr old weeaboos doing that's making $50,000+???

I've always been very interested in art and design, as well as business and finance in HS.
and for a while I wanted to become an architect but found out it takes as long as becoming a doctor or lawyer but you make 1/3 the money and is a very unstable career esp in a recession.
so I figured I might as well do something I'm really passionate about and I enjoy and can get better at as I get older, so I've been working on my portfolio to become a american traditional/ japanese traditional tattooist and eventually own my own shop and maybe buy some cheap property and rent it out or something, only shitty thing is, is that most tattooists make $30k-$50k

but there's a part of me that would like to go to school and take more business and finance and economic courses and learn how to better manage money and make a better Living, only thing Idk is what kind of good jobs or careers can you get with a business administration, finance, or marketing degree??

>TD;LR
>artfag that's only really good at art and design that's always been interested in finance and wealth,
>wants to become tattooist cause "life's short, do what makes you happy"
>but also wants to go to school so he can make a better living or figure out how to run a successful business
>what do?

Citation needed.. cuz that's wrong lol

Its true. Not all of us where raised with silver spoons

almost 50 millions in the US are on food stamps

So to both of you... I used to work in fed govt finance. Specifically HHS... Cite sources pls.

I'm now in hospital finance. Fuck the government.

doing what job?

Awful. Do you beg for change?

Engineering or CS jobs pay 60-80k right out of college so if you haven't graduated yet that's pretty good... but if you've got a degree and live near a major city it's pretty meh.

If you don't make at least 100k by 20 and have $1 million in assets by 30, you are a failure.

>25
>make 40k

Who else /failure/ here?

Not bad op. Louisiana fag here too. It does depend on salary growth and what sector you are in. Don't wanna sit on 55,000 a year at 55
