What I require: Automatic Climate Control Bluetooth Audio Projector beam headlights Backup Camera
What I would like: Sunroof Paddle Shifters Infotainment system with Android Audio LED headlights Adaptive Cruise Control Automatic Braking Lane Keeping Assist
Bonus points. State what you think are gimmicks: Dual-Zone Climate Control Seat Heaters
>inb4 I'm a cuck for wanting convenience and safety features >inb4 buy a 3k Civic This is an IF question

>require manual transmission >would like cruise control auto dimming mirrors power windows that keep rolling down when you take your finger off the switch heated seats
I owned a BMW for years, now I own a Miata. Those are the only features the BMW had that I actually miss, especially the dimming mirrors. Shit was cash.

I'm used to a stripper model '96 Passat, so just about anything with a somewhat decent stereo, air conditioning and room for a decent aftermarket head unit will do. Don't even need power windows, although they're pretty convenient I guess.
And as said, auto dimming mirrors would be nice.
Mason Young
forgot to add that auto headlights are also nice.
Charles Butler
Why not install a dimming mirror yourself user? Shouldn't be too hard on an MX-5.
Nathan Ramirez
I have one of those super wide racecar mirrors and I don't know which one I'd like more
Ethan Powell
Why not both? *Mexican music starts playing*

>Power windows >decent radio >good speakers that's really about it I don't use anything else. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but less electrical shit less gremlins to worry about

>wagon >3 seats in front (or bench seat) >no rear seat >popup headlights >at least 6x4 foot flat space in trunk >sub-1l, 3 cylinder engine >LPG conversion >must weigh under 2500 lbs >cheap
This is the closest to it right now.

Air-conditioning and cruise control

Assuming I'm buying a DD and not a fun car or work vehicle:
Require: Air conditioning, power locks and windows, remote car start, good headlights (don't care which type.. Just that they're bright when on bright), Aux input (or BT)
Want: Manual or CVT, Bluetooth, 200+HP, cruise control at all, traction control, automatic braking (literally no downside if it works properly).
Dislike/gimmicky: Cool headlights, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlights, climate control (the "set a temp" type: they're ALWAYS garbage and you end up manual-ing it anyways), backup cameras (unless you have specific need for it), auto-park.
Aiden Lewis
You've never owned a car with seat heaters. OR you don't live somewhere cold.
They're awesome, not gimmicky. Not a necessity but should have added it to my want list.
Ayden Parker
I'm with him. These aren't common acronyms. If it's not on the first page of google then it objectively does not exist.

> Require Heating AC Traction control/ESP USB and aux input in the stereo. Good sound on the stereo Proper ergonomic design; all the controls in the right place Good handling at minimum. Decent acceleration Heating and AC Electric windows Front and rear heated windscreens 5-door, manual petrol engine, 'Large Hatchback' or larger. Manual handbrake and not electric.
> Would like No 'automatic' anything; I want to tell it what to do, not have it guess and infer. Electric seats. Salesman that doesn't make my skin crawl. > 150HP
A nice car is an investment in my well-being and self-confidence. I cannot afford to compromise on features that I need.
Thomas Thompson
I had a rental with one. It was good for about 5 minutes. Then my bottom started to feel weird.
>require manual transmission some form of HVAC that's decent bi projector headlights fog lights no tacky DRL unless they're tasteful LED Aux or Bluetooth head unit sedan, coupe or hatchback good handling 225+ HP
>would like 4500k or 5000k HIDs heated seats headlight washers electric seats heated mirrors and rear windows along with anything else that can be defroted bright interior lights USB charging port/12V socket aluminum pedals
Gimmicks: parking 'sensors', automatic cruise control, 'infotainment' headunits that have like 12 different things on them including sports, weather, stocks and 20 near by chinese food places, anything touchscreen that isn't a GPS, cooled seats
Jack Bailey
Character Manual transmission Simplicity, not thousands of buttons on and besides the steering wheel that do stuff
Ryan Parker
That is so ungodly lazy.

Nobody but you knows that
